Sun came out - 4 days in a row. Wow. Was a busy morning getting on top of accounting for overnight credit spreads adjustments. Should really have gone out on the bike. That did not happen.
I did go walking late to check on some orchids. Mushroom action in the moss.
Heath flower - hard to find focus point
Promise of a nodding greenhood in a known location
Cobra greenhood - quite a few openers this time - close to 20
Cluster of at least 10 flowers
Nodding greehood - pterostylis nutans - first of the season
Close by was a helmet orchid - unusual purple colour
Last time I thought these might be tall greenhoods on account of the leaves up the spike - closer study of the cobra greenhoods shows the same structure
Corybas aconitifloris - spurred helmet orchid in more normal colouring
Side on of the cobra greenhood just shows the hint of the labellum
I heard the lyrebird calling. Chose to walk back on a different track somewhere close to where the calling was coming from. Nice open view of the show - video came out well. One day I will learn how to post video here
Glad I made the effort. Leeches were diabolical.
Dinner: Creamy mushroom garlic dish
Added a little salmon to mine
Trade action: Bought CHPT, HL. Sold SHELL.AS. Adjusted a bunch of credit spreads kicking the can down the road mostly on hedges - CDE, AUY, HL. Added a few new spreads COST, GDX, ICLN
