Farewell Little Phoenix.....My Actifit Report Card: November 26 2022

in Actifit โ€ข last year (edited)

Hello everyone and thanks ๐Ÿ™ for stopping by today! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿถ

Where does time go? It seems like it was just yesterday when Bill and Agi dropped off Phoenix for us to watch while they flew to Hungary ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ to visit รgiโ€™s family. It got quiet from that corner of the world until last night; they were at the Budapest airport. Seems somehow that we were mistaken about their return date. However, the more I processed this information, I realized the 27th in Hungary which at that time, was the 26th for us-I think. Anyway, we had one less day than we were expecting.

Fair well my sweet Phoenix! Itโ€™s been lovely to have you in our home. Now, after youโ€™ve gone, the house seems a bit empty and too quiet.

We took her for a final hike with us just about an hour before they arrived.

And then, the reunionโ€ฆโ€ฆ

Phoenix was just beside herself, leaping and giving slurpy doggie kisses! Such joy emitting from a small and compact package! We are going to miss her presence here. I easily become attached and then it breaks my heart to let go, but she is theirs. Iโ€™ll get to see her come Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ and am already looking forward to those slurpy kisses she gives.

I am glad they are home safe and sound.

Thatโ€™s gonna be it for now. Take care and please continue to ๐Ÿ™ for ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

I can't wait to see Phoenix's reaction when we walk into our sons home on Christmas!๐Ÿ˜

I know-right?! I will be ready for slurpies!!!๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿถ

Awww... I'm gonna miss you too, Phoenix!
Sis, are you sure you don't want your own Phoenix?

Well..........yes but no. I like the fact that my kitties are self reliant; they can survive a few days on their own with enough litter boxes, food and water. Little doggies are not litter box trained, lol! I enjoyed having Phoenix here, and would of course, take her, even permanently if the need arose, but I don't think I want to get a little guy right now. That could change, but for now, I'll borrow her.๐Ÿถ

Love ya much, sis!๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’ž๐ŸŒธ

Yay! ๐Ÿค—

Thank you so much!

Oh, those Pet Sitting Blues.

No kidding! (sigh).๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿค—

Oh wow, you will definitely miss Phoenix. Am sure she will be glad to be back in her old environment. having loved all the TLC you showed her, she will always love and remember you. Thank you for sharing and enjoy the new week ahead. December is here :}

Thanks @practicaleric! Yes, the house isn't quite the same; even my kitties seem to be missing her, lol! It's amazing just how attached you can become in a mere 3 weeks! I'd do it again though.

Yes, December is fast approaching and I really need time to slow down just a bit. It reminds me of a runaway downhill snowball gaining speed with every inch it rolls!

Take care my friend and enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค—. !LADY

For sure you will see her again at your son's house!

I know, but I became super attached. The house is so quiet! I'm looking forward to next month!

Yeah. You'll gonna see them during holidays.
