The day was here to go get the trees I ordered. Originally, the delivery was supposed to be March 16th, but due to the rain back then, Shore Pines and a few other varieties were either in a bog type area or the supplier had to cross a bog to get to them and they were inaccessible then. So they postponed delivery until today. We got our Shore Pines today-a healthy lot by the looks of it, this morning. See @silvertop’s post for pics.
After returning home, he went to ‘heel them in’ and I went to do some household paperwork. Then it was off to Home Depot for some stuff for him. Of course, I had to go to the garden center to see what they had.
The last time we were there, there was pretty much nothing and now the place is packed full! I didn’t even make it out front to see what there was out there.
It had been raining today and everything was fresh and moist!

On the way home, we went through Lynden to our favorite coffee place to get a much needed coffee and head for home. We live in beautiful country and some of the most ordinary things have a beauty of their own.
As you can see, the weather was unsettled and this next pic has almost a surreal look to it.
It is unaltered. It never poured again, but is back to being a bit misty right now.
I didn’t buy anything at the garden center as I’ve been so unsettled and stressed lately, I wasn’t sure I wanted to garden this year. However after visiting the garden center, I realize how relaxed it made me feel, so I’m thinking I should rethink the not gardening thing.
I’ve gotten some gift cards to Amazon in enough of an amount to possibly purchase a bigger greenhouse, so I’m looking. I think it might be a good thing especially if it has screens to keep out those pesky mosquitoes!

We would love to have some rain here now for it's the peak of the summer season in my country and it is truly very hot. Last week the heat index reached to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. You can cook an egg outside!😁
Wow! Awesome flowers, the first one I haven't seen before very unique. They really give us that boost, that sense of happiness deep inside and most specially the peace in our own souls.
We went to a flower farm last week during the holy week too with my two boys, hubby and son. I made a post about it in @aseanhive just sharing the magic.
The shower of beauties all around us just fills my heart with utter gratitude.
Sometimes we tend to have mood swings, we like to do this, we don't feel like doing this and that. When I have this kind of feeling I always turn to nature. I think they were created to let us (people) realize how blessed and lucky we are, we have the freedom to choose whatever we want.
Unlike them they will just grow, wither and die on the very spot they were planted but, but we can and will never hear them whine, react, complain about their very existence instead they just try to be as beautiful, to grow, to spread, to share good cheer around them no matter the weather, the good the bad the ugly conditions they are in.
These are some of my realizations nature gives me, most specially the beauty of the flowers.

Hi @aideleijoie! Thank you for your lovely thoughts! I am so glad you enjoyed the flower pictures! The first one is what they call Bleeding Hearts. There's a few varieties here; even one that grows wild in the forest.
