Hello everyone π,
Happy hump day ππ and a very warm welcome to my world π. It's yet another 24 hours to be grateful for. We are bang in the middle of the week and the stepping continued unabated. Time to slow down and fill you in on how my day has been plus what caught my eye π in the media. Let's get it done, come on π¨.
So as usual I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking π£ around the neighborhood π². It was a little chilly but I definitely enjoyed the cool morning breeze π.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans πΉ kept going and so did the election campaigning.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, some shelling in the Donbas region. The Russian FM says Russia's objectives are no longer limited to Donbas π±, they definitely need more of Ukraine. Elsewhere in the UK, the race for the PM has narrowed down to two contenders, we shall know the next PM in September when the Tory party goes to the poll.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is slightly up , hanging on to the 23k mark. Let's keep watching it. I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Many analysts predicting a further dip before we recover but this is bitcoin no one is quite sure.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped the city centre π². Had a few pictures taken from the top of KICC building. It was a cool cloudy afternoon as I made my way.
Next I was back indoors, where I had my usual nap π€. It was amazing and I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Italy, PM Draghi won a senate confidence motion. Although three parties refused to take part in the confidence voteπ±. Still in Europe the wild fires are still raging as the temperature soars. Today French president Macron, was in the southwest region meeting some of the firefighters trying to control the blazeπ₯.
Anyways, as the evening set in I had my ginger tea β and then stepped out for the sunset πβοΈπ
walk. It was amazing, slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze π.

Yes Russia seems ot have changed its story and clearly plan to keep going further into Ukraine, sad its still going on and so many people have been disrupted
