I haven't been consistent with training legs lately, partly because I think my legs are getting too big to fit anything and also life gets in the way. But today? Today I showed up.
No excuses, no "I'll do it tomorrow." Just me, the machine, and a whole lot of weight that had been waiting for me.
Leg press is one of those movements I genuinely love to hate. It's simple, brutal, and it never lies to you. You load the plates, you push, and your body tells you exactly where you're at. After a gap, mine had some words for me, and I heard every single one of them, lol.
But here's the thing about coming back, there's something powerful about just getting started again. You don't need a perfect streak. You don't need to be at your all-time best. You just need to get in there and do the work.
So if you've been skipping leg day, putting it off, or telling yourself you'll "get back to it soon" or just even skipping the gym or exercising at all, let this be your sign. Film it, post it, own it. Progress doesn't wait for you to feel ready.
