If you don't write your post also in French, what is the point of the #fr tag? The tag #fr is used for the French-speaking community, for the country you can use #france ;)
Well, I use it to support the French speaking community but without writing in French. The reason for this, is that more people would understand if I'd write in English. Especially since most people following and upvoting my posts since some time don't understand French. I also feel annoyed when people start to post in Polish or some kind of Asian language which I don't understand. The last thing I'd want is that people start to be annoyed, on the contrary.
En tout cas, j'écriré en français si je discuterais avec quelqu'un quelque chose qui n'est pas important pour les autres gens qui le lisent. Ou si je répond à quelque chose écrit en français. Mais làpar contre je n'utiliserais pas #fr... donc c'est un peu compliqué et je ne le trouve pas une bonne idée de se limiter en écrivant en français. !LUV pour ta commentaire, liberté de parole est très important. Freedom of speech is very important.
I agree with @mintrawa. More posts in French is the way to go to build the French-speaking community. I don't see how writing content suitable for non-#fr people could help in attracting more #fr people in the community. Non-Hive French-speaking people would just feel annoyed, won't read and won't join us.
To summarise, what you wrote does not make any sense to me. Please enlighten me (feel free to do so in English if you prefer).
This being said, this is true you may get less support by writing in French. However, what is the problem as the goal is to build a community? Moreover, if you are not interested in posts written in a specific language, it is sufficient not to browse tags where such posts are available. I don't see the issue here.
I get your point and accept my appologies for not considering using a tag to "build a communtity". I saw "building a community" more like literally start a community in Hive and post (why not, only in French) in it. For me it is a difference to go and post something in a specific community which has nothing to do with it (which I obviously would try to avoid) and just use a tag... But ok... I understood for you guys there's no difference and for me this is case closed. No worries...

L'utilisation du tag #fr a pour but de signaler les posts écrits en français.
Je considère le fait qu'aucun de vos posts ne soit écrit dans la langue Molière comme un abus. Et cela n'a rien à voir avec la liberté de parole que vous invoquez sans aucune pertinence.
Vous perdez toute espoir de curation de ma part!
PS: si je suis votre logique, j'imagine que le fait que je réponde en français ne devrait pas poser problème (#fr 😏)
En tant que Belge, je ressens plus un néerlandophone avec des bases de FR, mais certes pas du Français maternel. Difficile à comprendre le texte écrit en Français d'ailleurs.
(Je dis cela car dans un post le monsieur se prétend belge, ce qui demeure possible, je ne le nie pas, mais du côté NL alors)...

Je n'ai aucun problème de discuter avec vous en français, volontiers même (bien que l'envie me disparait après lire le commentaire de @hive-143869 qui certainement écrit parfaitement en langues non-maternelles - je suis désolé pour les erreurs,...). Mon motif le plus important pour écrire mes posts en anglais, c'est que j'aimerais que mes amis en Asie et aux Etats-Unis comprendront aussi ce que j'écris. Ne croyez surtout pas que je "revolte" contre "la langue Molière", bien au contraire. Et donc oui, @hive-143869, il y a aussi une côté néerlandophone en Belgique où, comme vous voyez, les gens généralement ont la bonne manière d'au moins essayer de communiquer dans une autre langue. Aujourd'hui je répondrai aux commentaires similaires, si je les vois, à partir de demain je trait le sujet comme fermé. En tout cas je vous respecterai votre opinion / demande, bien que je ne sois pas d'accord, et je n'utiliserai plus le #fr dans des posts non-francophones. Pas de problème!

C'est juste l'utilisation d'un tag codifié injustifié.
Essayez pour voir d'utiliser un tag qui parle de photo sans faire de blog sur la photo, ou un tag de finances sans parler de finance, c'est tout pareil avec le FR.
Vous êtes polyglotte, tant mieux, nous aussi, testez nous en EN ou en NL, aucun soucis, mais vous ne nous verrez pas utiliser de tags inappropriés car nous nous ferions downvoter. C'est pour cela que je vous ai prévenu, sachant que de bien nombreux autres auraient direct downvoté.
Nous n'aurions même pas commenté si vous aviez accepté le warning de Mintrawa ou encore d'Arcange ...

That's indeed another Belgian abbey beer. I made a post about it. You might be interested to read it (follow the link) I like that one particularly as well. About the price: depends where you drink it, we're blessed here in Spain we can have it in the supermarket for between 1,30 and 1,50 EUR.

Je n'avais pas vu "tag rules". Je l'ai déjà expliqué mais il parait qu'il y a même des francophones ici sur Hive qui croient que tout le monde devrait parler et écrire leur langue ou qu'il faut créer une niche (je pensais que l'esprit de Hive était tout à fait le contraire, mais bon, peut-être c'est moi qui ne le comprends pas). Apart de cela l'esprit d'un platforme décentralisé est certainement que tout le monde fait ce qu'il pense qui est bon sans qu'une authorité doit commander des règles. Dit ceci, je n'utilisirai plus #fr dans des posts qui sont en anglais.
