I had a massage scheduled for this morning so I turned down a coffee date with a dear friend and 10 minutes before I arrived at the salon for my massage I received a message that we needed to reschedule due to her having a scheduling conflict 😭 😭 I’ve been waiting all month for this appt, it was so needed and now it wasn’t happening.
I realized that I still have a hard time with disappointments. I turned around and headed home and explained to my husband what happened and told him I was going for a de- stressing run instead. That’s where I can workout all my shortcomings and focus on all the good in my life. I had a great day today in spite of my morning and am now looking for a new place to get massages. My husband gives amazing hot oil massages but I try not to take advantage of his generosity because they’re a lot of work. Well at any rate he’s just another reason my life great. 🥰
