Cheers to everyone who appreciates a good tune, or heck, even three tunes at a time. Its been a while since i participated, and a cheers to a few of the people who try to post for #ttt every tuesday including @ablaze, @blanchy, @sagesigma, @tengolotodo. There are others but ill keep the tagging simple for now.
Its a good initiative to share some tunes, and some good words. Afterall thats what Hive is all about. Im really listening to the same old stuff mostly. Although my range is varied across many genres, i really just love anything guitar related the most since i like to jam a bit every now and then. The picture above is me with my sweet Amp, which is made by Shecter. A California based company. They make the guitar that i have too, that i have posted about before too.
Anyways lets get on to a few random tunes that i have on the tip of my brain.
RUSH - XYZ
I hope this video pops up for everyone. Dont know why i thought of this song, i actually havent listened for a while. But....WHAT AN ABSOLUTE CUT RIGHT HERE.
The best comment on the video says how each member is a god at their instrument. This really displays that. Such sweet guitar, quick, quirky. Solid interesting solo, that unique sound to his guitar. Bass poppin like a boss. Drums quick and tight, accurate, keeps up with the best of the best. Of course not much vocal from ol Geddy, but hes a badass. Rush is badass. Could be my favorite Rush song, but they have a lot of good ones.
PINK FLOYD - TIME
- Something about this particular song by Pink Floyd just clutches me right in the purse. The lyrics, the feeling when he sings those deep parts. Those sweet juicy licks, emotional solo. I can go without the whole first minute with all the clock noises and such but its a favorite of mine for sure. I almost like the original solo compared to the way he played in this video but its still badass. TIME BRO. Racing around to come up behind you again. SHORTER OF BREATH, ONE DAY CLOSER......DAM. Right in the purse.
FAMILY JULES - SONIC MEDLEY
- Because im a madman, and i love both guitar and retro video games. I present one of the best metal guitar versions of the original music from the Sonic games. Its a medley so it goes through many of the games most iconics songs. Love it. Gives me the ol foot taps.
Anyways, the night is young here in Chicago, easier night at work, hope all you beasts keep beastin and rockin.

Time is some song alright, and stands up to the test of time too, as good today as when I first heard it blaring from my older Sister's stereo and thought what the fuck is this, and I want more! I agree though, that they can keep the first 20 seconds of the mad alarm bells.. maybe not the first minute, but first 20 seconds, yep..
The sonic and guitar medley is class stuff, brings me back to playing that game on the Gamegear and Mega drive back in the day!

Thanks Boom, yeah man. Its a paper weight at this point. Im due to plug it in to let er rip. Its a nice one, cost a pretty penny few years back already. It sounds so good tho. A little Fender for 300 usd would probably sound really good. Any cheaper i think they start to sound little weak on quality, but its a choice my bro.
I have a fender about that price range. That's my biggest. Then I have an orange 15 watter and then my favourite of all, my positive grid Spark. I fecking love that beast. The sounds are awesome from it!!

Hey dear, i appreciate those good words. Yes, ive been a lover of the guitar for almost 20 years now, hard to believe, since was about 16. That's cool you enjoyed the Sonic, most people think fast guitar is too much to handle, but they are quite the melodic tunes i think lol. The 1st two songs are just older classics. Lot of good music out there. TTT is a cool thing, glad to have you stop by, hope all is well with you. Ill stop by to see whats been up with you too.

I loved to play Sonic the Hedgehog (1999) on MS-DOS as a child. Today, after I searched for it on the Google, I realized that it is an ultra rare, fan, unofficial Sonic game. I thought so far that it is an official Sonic game.
