Hello dear friends,
Over the past few weeks and months, we have had to keep going to Bad Mergentheim to the Caritas hospital due to a sports accident during school sports. This chapter is now closed, and everything ended well. The fracture in the upper arm has healed well. Together with the hospital staff, we worked towards conservative treatment, which turned out to be the absolutely right decision. Any operation that can be avoided is a good operation. We are very satisfied with the orthopaedic department at the Caritas Hospital in Bad Mergentheim. We have always been treated very competently and in an extremely friendly manner.

in den vergangenen Wochen und Monaten mussten wir auf Grund eines Sportunfalls im Schulsport immer wieder nach Bad Mergentheim ans Caritas Krankenhaus. Dieses Kapitel schließt sich nun. Und zwar mit Glück im Unglück. Der Bruch des Oberarms ist gut verheilt. Wir haben in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Klinikpersonal auf eine konservative Behandlung hingewirkt, was sich nun als der absolut richtige Wege herausgestellt hat. Jede OP, die man vermeiden kann, ist eine gute OP. Sehr zufrieden sind wir mit der orthopädischen Abteilung des Caritas Krankhauses von Bad Mergentheim. Wir sind stets sehr kompetend und auch äußerst freundlich behandelt worden.

We also went to the market square and had an ice cream. The old town hall of Bad Mergentheim, which was completed in the 16th century, is also located here.

Auch auf dem Marktplatz waren wir und haben ein Eis gegessen. Hier steht auch das alte Rathaus von Bad Mergentheim, das im 16. Jahrhundert fertiggestellt wurde.
We all enjoyed it, especially my children, especially in the spa gardens and also in the castle park. It's just great when spring awakens. We will definitely be visiting Bad Mergentheim again without having an appointment at the hospital.

Uns allen, v.a. auch meinen Kindern, hat es besonders im Kurpark und auch im Schloßpark gut gefallen. Es ist einfach toll, wenn der Frühling erwacht. Mit Sicherheit werden wir hier in Bad Mergentheim auch mal ohne Termin im Krankhaus wieder aufschlagen.
Basically, I can only recommend a visit to the Tauber Valley. The well-known Rotenburg ob der Tauber, Bad Mergentheim, Weikersheim and Wertheim are really beautiful little towns. Many motorcyclists appreciate the winding road through the Tauber Valley. Of course, there is also a well-developed cycle path. However, as the terrain is not completely flat, you should be physically fit. However, we live in the age of pedelecs, so almost anyone can explore the Tauber Valley by bike today.

Grundsätzlich kann ich einen Besuch im Taubertal nur empfehlen. Das bekannte Rotenburg ob der Tauber, Bad Mergentheim, Weikersheim und Wertheim sind wirklich wunderschöne Städtchen. Viele Motorradfahrer wissen die kurvige Straße durchs Taubertal zu schätzen. Natürlich gibt es auch einen super ausgebauten Radweg. Da das Terrain nicht komplett eben ist, sollten man aber schon etwas Fitness mitbringen. Allerdings leben wir ja im Zeitalter der Pedelecs, so daß heute fast jeder das Taubertal auch mit dem Rad erkunden kann.
The "Karlsquelle" spring, which was discovered in 1828, is also located in the spa gardens. The powerful healing water from the depths of the Tauber river bed owes its healing effect on various gastrointestinal diseases to its high magnesium and sulphate content.

Im Kurpark befindet sich auch die "Karlsquelle", die 1828 entedeckt wurde. Das kraftvolle Heilwasser aus der Tiefe des Taubergrunds verdankt seine Heilwirkung bezüglich diverser Magen- Darmerkrankungen einem hohen Anteil an Magnesium und Sulfat.
We were not the only ones who enjoyed Bad Mergentheim. Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most famous German composers of all time, worked here in 1791.

Nicht nur uns hat Bad Mergentheim sehr gut gefallen. 1791 wirkte hier mit Ludwig van Beethoven auch einer der bekanntesten deutschen Komponisten aller Zeiten.

My son suffered a fracture to his upper arm during school sports. Fortunately, he was still young enough to be treated conservatively. But we had to keep going back to the clinic. First for x-rays and then to immobilize the arm. And then to check on the healing. The arm has to become mobile again.
Oh wow. I thought it was an old sports injury of yours. Now, it makes even more sense to me. Glad your boy was able to get the healing process along this far without anything too intrusive like surgery. Thanks for filling in my blanks. Hopefully, everything will get smoother in the process with this chapter closed into the books!
It looks really good in terms of healing the arm. You don't notice anything if you don't know about it. The doctors at the hospital in Bad Mergentheim were really very good. I can't mention that often enough.
Flowers popping with brilliant colour all around what a joy to be out during Spring, without a worry in the world.
Good news the sports accident did not require surgical intervention more passive route taken.

I'm glad your health issue is resolved and that you bypassed surgery. It's for the best. Nice that a medical trip can turn into a nice trip. I try to do the same so that trips to the doctors have a pleasant side, i.e. small trips or exhibition viewings.

I wasn't the one who suffered from the broken arm, but our son. But as parents, we naturally suffer and tremble with him.

I'm sorry I misunderstood and I'm sorry your son had this accident. It's good that the healing is progressing well, the younger you are, the easier such accidents are to resolve.

No problem. I also expressed myself somewhat imprecisely - partly to protect my son's privacy. But as I said, despite his young age, he also appreciated the doctors' treatment. He found the trips to Bad Mergentheim very pleasant once the pain was gone.
It's good that he had a reward after the doctor's visit.
Ohje - les ich gerade erst Andy, aber gut, dass es gut verlief - wir müssen mal telefonieren, irgendwie hab ich den Touch für Hive verloren und selbst die music community hängt, aber auch aus u.a. gesundheitlichen Gründen, müssen uns dann mal wirklich auf dem Autobahnweg treffen
