Hi dear Hivers ! Hope you're well and had a great weekend :) Here we are on the road again, although lately I've been feeling a bit like I'm on the road constantly... The quiet moments dedicated to writing and reading are becoming rarer and I'm starting to ask myself some questions.
These questions could in fact be summed up in just one "What do we do with the time allocated to us each day ?" It's a choice and as soon as we decide to do one thing, another obviously has to bow out or at the very least, leave a little more room for the new arrival....
All this is surely linked to the entry into a new cycle, but more than that of the New Year, I think it must be a new personal and intimate cycle. It's still maturing and I think that for these reasons, I can't necessarily find the right words to reflect my thoughts...
So here we are on the long road ! Stopped on the side of the road as we arrived in the beautiful region of Normandy. I love having perspective and a clear horizon with natural elements such as the forest at the far end of the viewpoint.
In fact, we stopped off at a butcher's who prepares everything he offers himself and with his family, and I have to say that his products are of excellent quality !

The countryside is magnificent and, as luck would have it, we're in for a treat, as it's the first time the weather has been fine for a fortnight! We've just arrived from the city and it's also the first time in months that I'm getting out my Sigma 17-70mm lens, which offers incredible versatility thanks to its wide focal length !
Well, in my 360° on the spot, it's still hard to fight against the darkening effect of the sun, but I still like this last image, which gives you a glimpse of the road we've just come from, and brings this article to a close with its allusions to the passing of time and our presence on its line, which can be seen in a straight line... or not !

Salut chers Hivers ! J'espère que vous allez bien et que vous avez passé un excellent weekend :) Nous voilà sur la route de nouveau, même si dernièrement, j'ai un peu eu l'impression d'y être en permanence... Les moments de calmes dédiés à l'écriture et à la lecture se font plus rares et je commence à me poser des questions.
Ces questions pourraient en fait se résumer à une seule "Que faisons-nous du temps qui nous est alloué chaque journée ?" Cela est un choix et dès que l'on décide de faire une chose, une autre doit évidemment tirer sa révérence ou à la rigueur, laisser un peu plus de place à la nouvelle venue...
Tout cela est sûrement lié à l'entrée dans un nouveau cycle, mais plus que celui de la nouvelle année, je pense qu'il doit s'agir d'un nouveau cycle personnel et intime. C'est encore en maturation et je pense que pour ces raisons, je ne trouve pas forcément les mots exacts qui reflètent ma pensée...
Nous voilà donc sur la longue route ! Arrêtés sur le bas côté tandis que nous arrivons dans cette belle région qu'est la Normandie. J'aime beaucoup avoir de la perspective en même temps qu'un horizon dégagé et composé d'éléments naturels tel que la forêt qu'on voit tout au fond du point de fuite.
En fait, nous nous sommes arrêtés chez un boucher qui prépare lui-même et en famille, tout ce qu'il propose et je dois dire que ses produits sont d'une excellente qualité !

La campagne est magnifique et par chance, nous sommes gâtés puisque ce jour-là, c'est la première fois qu'il fait beau depuis deux semaines ! Nous arrivons de la ville et c'est aussi la première fois depuis des mois que je ressors mon objectif 17-70mm de chez Sigma et qui offre une incroyable polyvalence du fait de sa large ouverture focale !
Bon, dans mon 360° sur place, il est tout de même difficile de lutter contre l'effet assombrissant du soleil, mais j'aime malgré tout bien cette dernière image qui permet de voir la route d'où nous venons et clôt bien cet article et ses allusions au temps qui passe et à notre présence sur sa ligne que l'on peut voir de façon rectiligne... ou non !

Seems our weekend were same, that ended up spending most time on the roads....I have been travelling with some nice sight seeing...all along the roads....The view of the countryside is simply magnificent...calling me to join you 🙂
