Suddenly they're all proud and confident and picking up everything in sight. Can I eat this kibble? How about this super fast spiderbug? And this twig? Can I eat it, too?
Until about three minutes later when mom or dad unearth a worm or crack open a peanut and the amnesia hits and babe runs screaming helter skelter full panic omfg I haven't eaten in days feedmebitch mode.
And the process repeats.
For months.
