So much fur

My dog Titus is such a fun dog. Before we decided to get a husky puppy, we did a lot of research into the breed. We knew we were getting a dog that would require a lot of attention just because they have so much energy. One thing we didn't really expect though, was the amount of fur these dogs shed.

When we first got him, I should have known how much fur he was going to shed because he was such a little ball of fur.

I had to go through several different brushes before I found the perfect one for him. It is called a Furminator. It is the only brush is able to get all of his excess fur.

Whenever I grab the brush, he knows exactly what time it is. He LOVES getting brushed. We live in an area that is pretty much a desert in the summer time and it gets pretty hot. I am sure he knows that this helps him keep cool when he is getting brushed.

He usually just lays down when I am brushing him and he just relaxes like he is getting a massage.

When I am done brushing him, there is fur everywhere. We have a lot of birds that live in the trees in the backyard, so his fur makes perfect nesting material for them.

Titus is such an awesome dog and the best friend to this goof ball here named Harley.

If you are thinking about getting a Husky, just know they are a lot of work. They require a lot of attention and mental stimulation or else they can become quite destructive when they are bored. They are some of the best dogs though and I would highly recommend them to someone. They are the best furbaby you could ever ask for.

Titus looks like he was really enjoying that attention in the 4th photo. I have a short haired dog and use one of the gloves with the rubber points. He seems to enjoy it. I have heard of the furminator but haven't tried one.
