Greetings photography and art lovers. Today I bring you the second part of the murals of my city. This artwork covers the walls of the La Victoria Sports Center Stadium. It's a very long mural, again I apologize for not knowing how to calculate the meters 😬🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️.
Esta extensa pared ha sido lienzo de muchos murales a lo largo de los años ya que cada cierto tiempo le pintan motivos diferentes, ha tenido obras de ecología, fauna y flora nacional, tradiciones culturales e historia. Actualmente tiene una representación de la Batalla de La Victoria. Con un estilo sencillo pero muy colorido este mural nos muestra algunas escenas de lo que fue esa heróica batalla, una de las más importantes en la gesta independentista de Venezuela.
This extensive wall has been the canvas of many murals over the years, since from time to time they paint different motifs on it, it has had works of ecology, national fauna and flora, cultural traditions and history. It currently has a representation of the Battle of La Victoria. With a simple but very colorful style, this mural shows us some scenes of that heroic battle, one of the most important in Venezuela's independence campaign.
La Batalla de La Victoria enfrentó a las fuerzas realistas de Francisco Tomás Morales y Tomás Boves contra el ejército republicano de José Félix Ribas, fue una batalla épica donde contra todo pronóstico y teniendo un ejército inexperto y cinco veces menor, formado en su mayoría por seminaristas y jóvenes de entre 12 y 20 años, José Félix Ribas logra vencer a los realistas aún cuando más del 60% de los jóvenes reclutados murieron en la batalla.
The Battle of La Victoria faced the royalist forces of Francisco Tomás Morales and Tomás Boves against the republican army of José Félix Ribas, it was an epic battle where against all odds and having an inexperienced and five times smaller army, made up mostly of seminarians and young people between the ages of 12 and 20, José Félix Ribas managed to defeat the royalists even though more than 60% of the young men recruited died in battle.

Este hermoso mural le da la bienvenida a todos los que llegan a La Victoria ya que está cerca del peaje que conduce hacia la autopista regional del centro y también porque es una parada donde se bajan muchos pasajeros que vienen en autobús desde las ciudades más cercanas como Caracas, Maracay y Valencia. Como siempre se ha hecho, fue pintado entre varias personas, sin embargo, no aparece el nombre del artista que lo diseñó.
This beautiful mural welcomes everyone who arrives in La Victoria since it's close to the toll that leads to the downtown regional highway and also because it's a bus stop for many passengers who come from the nearest cities like Caracas, Maracay and Valencia. As always has been Made, this mural was painted between several people, however, it doesn't have the name of the artist who design it.
