In der Malzfabrik - kurze Geschichte in drei Bildern/ in the Malzfabrik - a short story in pictures

I already introduced the Malzfabrik in a previous article. There are many rooms and possibilities here to think up stories. In any case, I always have ideas here. I saw these technical devices and rooms and the following picture story developed.

The first two pictures were taken according to the same principle. I illuminated the room with a warm white torch. I illuminated the model with a black glass fibre brush to give the impression of a painting. I also painted the white piece of paper in the first picture with the glass fibre tool.

In the third picture I illuminated the back room with a red torch. I created the toxic fog with an EL-wire and scanned the model with the black fibreglass brush.

WHAT IS LIGHT PAINTING?

Light painting is a unique form of art. The darkness is illuminate by the artist with diverse light sources and light traces are paint into the picture with various light tools. Various techniques are use, such as camera rotation or other movements of the camera during the exposure. The creative possibilities are almost unlimited. All the pictures were taken during one single exposure. Apart from denoising, sharpening, cutting and possibly adjusting the white balance, the pictures are not processed on the computer.
