En mi una de mis caminatas por el campo me encontré con este pequeño animal blanco con algunos tokes de negros ya azulados, ese día lo quería compartir, pero no encontré su nombre por ningún lado y hoy me ha dado algunos problemas para hacerlo, con todo y que estoy usando la aplicación, Naturalist, la que mediante una foto logra analizar y ubicar la especie, lo primero que logre identificar es que pertenece a los gorgojos de trompa corta, subfamilia (Entiminae)

La verdad yo que siempre camino por toda la zona he visto una población muy baja y, eso que siempre ando en busca de pequeños insectos para fotografiar, en mi país ha caído una plaga a los cítricos, la verdad debo investigar si se trata de este animal o él sea el culpable, no estoy seguro y ante la profunda crisis económica que nos hunde cada día, la mayoría de plantas cítricos se han perdido y esto se traduce en un gran incremento de los precios de este rubro. Creo que el animal es hermoso, en cantidades pequeñas de seguro cumple una función como todos.

Es realmente hermoso, espero que no tengas una plaga a futuro, este es un gorgojo de cabeza dorada, es familia de los escarabajos, es poca la información que se consigue sobre estos insectos, solo dicen que son plagas para los cítricos, y a mi parecer es lamentable que no exista información mas extensa sobre ellos, gracias por compartir estas fotografías, me encantan los detalles.
