RE: Weekly Strain Review: Cotton Candy - Loving This Stuff!

That Cotton Candy looks amazing, very good review!

Thanks for reading, glad you enjoyed it :)

Luckily I have some nice strains growing right now.

This is the next thing I want to do. I wanted to this summer, but I think I'm late. I'd like to try an outdoor grow though, maybe next summer. I'm having a hard time finding seeds locally.

It may have been you I saw blogging about dispensaries (don't remember for sure) on reservations in NY

Yes, I've written about that. I've been on three reservations so far and I've found dispensaries on all of them. All my reviews have been from Native American dispensaries so far. I haven't found any state-licensed dispensaries here in Buffalo either. My cousin has a medical card and medical dispensaries are open, but no recreational use dispensaries yet. I think they're slow with releasing the licenses or something. Typical NY bureaucracy and red tape I imagine.

Yes it was definitely your blog I was reading it on then because it was specifically pertaining to the Native American dispensaries.

Nicely put, I have a strong distaste towards legislative restrictions of any kind when it comes to cannabis, and this is why it's still challenging for some in a "legal" state to find seeds. It's like telling a person in a cage they are free as long as they do not try to exceed the limitations of their cage.

In terms of if it's too late to grow outdoors this year, I don't know because I'm not experienced growing this way, but maybe a large plant that's already been grown indoors some and put in the soil now might have a chance to yield nicely.

I feel really lucky to have a couple of verified strains. I have a few Big Mac Superstar and some Lemon Drip plants. No seeds left from the Lemon Drip and am just working with clones now.

If you like how the harvests end up looking with the Big Mac Superstar and Lemon Drip, I would be happy to share some clones with you in the near future if you're able to come to Syracuse. I'll be sharing plenty of updates with the plants growth stages, production, quality of smoke, flavor, aroma, etc :)

OMG, that would be awesome. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Sooner or later I'm hoping to get to Syracuse in my travels. Pretty sure I'm focusing on NY state this season for travel. Adirondacks, Thousand Islands, and a few cities like Albany and Syracuse for sure.

Who knows, maybe we meet up for a beer or smoke session!

Seems to be an issue for sure. None of the dispensaries are offering seeds yet. Hopefully, they will in the future.

Sorry for the late reply, my notifications get crazy sometimes and I miss comments here and there. Cheers from Buffalo NY
