Baling Hay in Southern Missouri 2021: The Family That Hays Together...

in DTube3 years ago

Well, I didn't see this one coming. Our two boys got hired to load hay for a friend, and I was asked to drive the truck. So it was me and The Dreamer in the truck, both boys loading hay, and our friend stacking it. It was going great until the heat index started pushing down. That's when we had to adapt.

The Inventor started getting too hot, so ol' dad had to get out and start loading hay. Which also meant that The Dreamer had to get a crash course in driving a car, not just a car but a truck with a trailer full of hay.

We did it though. Our first experience with square hay bales. 280 bales! We all got a taste of a hard job and a new appreciation for those that have to do it regularly!
