In a recent talk with a friend, we were chatting about what is happening with the stock market and what is happening with bitcoin. There is so much potential information....how do we ever really onow what is happening.
Like many people, I am excited about what is happening in the world of crypto currency. Over the next few weeks I think we are going to see some awesome stuff. ..... See...that's speculation haha.
It goes well beyond just stocks and crypto, but what about our lives in general. Are we not speculating about everything? Are we not making decisions about the future based on the information we have today?
We see this all the time. How many people have a 30 year mortgage on their house? Think about that. That is making a decision that is planning your life 30 years from now.
What about the way we eat, exercise, smoke, do drugs...are these all not just a bet that we are speculating the long term outcome
When it comes to life....I think it is beautiful...so I will keep speculating about that outcome haha.

Ummm, no. Most people get a 30 year mortgage because its normal.
Its just the way you buy a house.
Making a deal with the devil to pay for life so you can have a roof over your head when you sleep.
That is just what we do.
Mortgage (french) - death note. Or a bargain to pay for the rest of your life.
If anyone really knew what a mortgage was, they would burn down any bank that suggested it.
Even though we are indeed speculating on the future, most people are just following old customs.
If people were actually speculating on the future, the cities would be empty, the coast lines shuttered, everybody would have a greenhouse...
So, since i see only a few moving to live that life, either all these people aren't seeing the obvious, are hiding their heads in the sand, or they believe the MSM's lies.
I think that instead of speculating, most people are just living in a rut.
I suppose that's another way to see it. Even by people not making a move toward greenhouses that would also show that they are betting against the worst case scenario. I like to give people some credit. I know alot of people roll on autopilot, but they still have to make decisions that are based on something. I would imagine.
i have talked to many people, getting them to talk about their decision process (via giving them questions about themselves to talk about) and what i have found is that most of what i consider BIG decisions, they have not thought one iota upon them. Its the way daddy did it, its the way i do it, if it is even that complicated.
