I learned a hard lesson, you cannot have things for a long time and not use them and still expect them to work. Like having a race car in the garage for 10 years and never starting it but expecting it would start if you turned the key...not likely to happen. Better keep using it to make sure it will indeed work when it is needed.

I couldn't believe it when you told me that about the check. I have one thing that doesn't take electronic payment, so I write a check, even though I could have the bank send it. But, it had been years before this that I had ever used a check.
