Before you buy a GoPro Hero 10, please watch this. The GoPro Hero 9 was a great camera except.... When you start filming many users get a snap, crackle and pop until the camera warms up. It can actually ruin the audio and potentially the whole shoot.

Hey Paul, I was thinking to buy a go-pro for myself, basically for vlogging and time-lapse. Which one do you suggest? I think you said for time-lapse, go-pro 9 is not a problem, but for vlogs, it's not the best option. So which one should I purchase?
I have both the DJI Osmo Action and the GoPro Hero 9. I love the color on the Hero, but it is much more than the Osmo. Here the Osmo is $300. The Hero 10 is $450. I loved the Hero 8 but it lacked the front facing screen. They all do good for vlogging and time-lapse. Even my Hero 9 once you let it record for about 1 minute it no longer pops. I still have my big cameras, but having these small cameras is really what I find I am using more and more. So light weight and I dont worry so much about dropping them or them being stolen.
I think you should treat yourself to one :) Especially if Dtube coin goes back up!!!
I was thinking to buy a go-pro instead of a drone, the first gadget for vlogging is a good camera must. I am also planning to elevate my videography by working on time-lapse. I really want to learn that. I will sure some up with something within this year...
Lol of course, but the Osmo IS a camera. It just happens to be made by the drone company. It is cheaper and I use it ever day. I like both the Hero 8, the Hero 9 and the Osmo Action.
The Osmo is on the right 😁 They all do fine time lapse and also slow motion.
