Being A Good Dad On Market Friday

My daughter wanted to pick up a shirt for a friend at the mall. Of course it was on the way home, so why not? I am always game to tag along, even if it takes me into some store I most likely would not darken the doorway of lol.

Here is a perfect example:

There is nothing wrong with Hop Topic, it is just not one I would frequent.

They do have a good selection of anime...

Plus they carry a good amount of Harry Potter stuff

I usually get my tees at Walmart. Yep you can get pretty much any color tee by Fruit of the Loom at Walmart for 4 bucks. I complain coz the always get me for another buck for the fat boy size. Plus you can get the premium ones with a pocket and softer material for no more than 6 bucks!

YIKES

A special thank you to @dswigle for making Market Friday such fun every week!

I thought it was cool that they had classic rock tees!

Some of these were pretty popular in my high school in the 80's!

All those cool Zepelin and Rolling Stones t-shirts and they didn't have one you liked? Well you clearly have discerning tastes, @old-guy-photos! Ha ha. Happy Market Friday!

Sure they are very cool but a bit small for me lol. Bob Ross drink however, is just right lol.

This should be renamed nostalgia bomb store. Biggie, Tupac, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Prince and Van Halen to name a few.

Bob Ross energy drink, is that a misnomer? haha

What was the final purchase?

Daughter got a tee for a friend, and I only shopped and refrained from spending!

hahaha the good ol' Bob Ross in there, what this of a place :D

And yeah spending too much on clothes? Not so good in that as well here honestly. Let me rephrase, shopping isnt my favorite but would love to walk around in that store for a bit!

Lookie! Lookie! Those T-shirts are sweet! I don't know which one I have to have! Hot Topic is a great store for young girls, especially if they bring their sugar daddy with them! There is nothing wrong with Hot Topic and even though I have gone in, it is not on my regular list of places I must go to... actually, nothing is since Covid started. Every store is still deserted. People order online and for over a year, there were no dressing rooms open, finally a few have made a comeback and now nobody wants to use them after whining about not having them.

I would like a Pink Floyd shirt or Led Zepplin... or.... or.... or.... they don't even have to be in my era, they can be before my time. Seriously, though, is there anything worth listening to before my time? Pink Floyd is still listened to. Who knew that we weren't listening to the oldies back then, they would just get more oldie. Cult Classic for sure. They just don't make them like they used to. Poor kids have to reach further back.

Anyway, your Walmart t-shirts are a real buy! Six bucks! You know how special that place is to me! Is that you with the green t-shirt on? :) I appreciate your support of #MarketFriday! This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!! Upped and reposted

Yes of course it is me sporting my 6 buck tee. Here I thought you might be interested more in the Harry Potter items...

Well you know when one is shopping for a gift, only certain things will do.

EW People.....LOL... that there is funny.

They had a shirt for everything there... didn't they?

That Bob Ross positive energy drink we pretty humorous too. How many did you buy? You could drink one while watching a re-run of one of his shows.

Oh see I am more of a shopper than a buyer. I cant afford to buy at the mall, only shop!

I do that too, or I use to before covid. Sometimes after sitting all day at work, I would stop at a store and just browse around so I could be on my feet for a while. I found many neat things that way, but I did look way more than buy. I like to see what all is out there, because there are many things that exist that are not online or that you would never think to look for online.

LOL....you can't afford to buy.... you make me laugh.

I do that whole browsing thing especially at Home Depot or Lowes. One might think it is boring, but they are always inventing new tools and ways to do things. Sometimes its hard to keep up with it all TBH.
