This week MarketFriday: Liberation War Museum

You may know about the achievement of liberation of my country. It was at the 1971. The freedom fighters had to fight 9 months long war to achieve victory. And finally the country became free at 16th December 1971, we achieved freedom and recognised as a separate country in the world map.

It was a long history of sacrifices. The freedom fighters have sacrificed many thing. About 30 lac fighter became martyrs and 2 lac women were raped on that war. We respectfully remember their supreme sacrifices.

Our government decided to establish a museum to honour their sacrifices and remind them to the new generation. Because without reminding the freedom fighters the new generation would not be able to be perfect patriot as they could not feel the value of the freedom.

(My friend who is also a poet)

so it was a great initiative by the government to set a museum on the capital city about Liberation War. Here different sign, proof, books, real photography and art about liberation war are equipped in a well-decorated manner for the visitors.

By visiting this museum you will be I want to know about the real history of Liberation of Bangladesh as well as you made make a virtual time traveling through the museum will you feel the sacrifices of the fighters as well as the victim women.

It will give you a feeling of Liberation War. Hence you would be able to learn about the value of independence achieved by the country.

(young generation may be motivated)

It is very important for the new generation people. The young generation who you have experienced freedom and independence from their birth time, it is very tough for them to realise how was about that time when there was no freedom and independence in that country. So sometimes young generation may be misguided.

But if they can realise that actual struggle for being independent, then it will help them to be more loyal and responsible person to their country. That's why it is the great initiative by the government. It is the perfect time to modify and update the museum day by day.

It is always important to teach history, so it will not repeat itself. Knowing the struggle and the sacrifices surely tug at my heartstrings. Although I do not like war, I do not like suppression either.

The museum is a reminder that your country has become what it is today because of the sacrifices of these people. May our world find a way to be peaceful always.

I want to thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday! Each week, I post for the challenge to provide a different look of American culture, some of it over the top and some, everyday things. Sometimes, I just show places that I have gone to, all having an entry fee to qualify it for the #MarketFriday tag! It is a challenge to find new things during the pandemic, but, we still have to live, so we have been able to pull it off. It shows off how much we are alike and how different life can be.
