Ready to experience a Calgary farmers market?
Well, on our visit to the Calgary Farmers’ Market which is not just a typical market, it is a community center where fresh produce, artisanal products and locals display their products, such as olives, olive oils, flowers, fruits and vegetables and much more.
Pronto para conhecer um mercado de Calgary?
Bem, em nossa visita ao Calgary Farmers’ Market que não é apenas um mercado típico, é um centro comunitário onde produtos frescos, produtos artesanais e os locais exibem seus produtos, como azeitonas, azeites, flores, frutas e legumes e muito mais.
The market is home to 78 vendors ranging from fresh produce, meat and poultry to international cuisine, organics, creative crafts and more.
We went there to discover and also to eat, with around 20 family restaurants that will certainly please your taste buds.
In a busy food court that should have more than 300 people, which also has a recreation area, Barnyard Kids.
A very community environment where various special events are celebrated.
We start with fruits and vegetables. With very colorful products and aroma they made my day.
The price may be a little higher than traditional markets in the region, but the quality is worth the investment, the flavors and qualities are incredible.
The fish market also enchanted me, lots of seafood to choose from.
Afterwards, we went for lunch with a good beer to go with it, and the hardest part was choosing just one.
O mercado abriga 78 vendedores que vai desde produtos agrícolas frescos, carnes e aves até culinária internacional, orgânicos, artesanatos criativo e muito mais.
Fomos lá para conhecer e também para comer, com cerca de 20 restaurantes familiares que com certeza irá agradar seu paladar.
Em uma praça de alimentação movimentada que deveria ter mais de 300 pessoas, que conta também com uma parte para recreação, o Barnyard Kids.
Um ambiente bem comunitário onde diversos eventos especiais são comemorados.
Começamos pelas frutas e vegetais. Com produtos muito coloridos e aroma me fizeram meu dia.
O preço pode ser um pouco mais alto do que mercados tradicionais, mas a qualidade vale a pena o investmento, os sabores são incríveis. A parte da peixaria também me encantou, muitos frutos do mar frasquinhos para escolher.
Depois fomos almoçar com uma boa cerveja para acompanhar, e o mais difícil foi escolher um só.
Imagine a food court that can accommodate more than 300 people and a super cool Barnyard Kids play area for our children to play while we eat in peace.
I also couldn't resist the variety of fresh pasta and had to take some to try.
All tasty and very well made. I say the same for cheeses.

Também não resisti a variedade de massas frescas e tive que levar algumas para experimentar. Todas saborosas e muito bem feitas. Digo o mesmo para os queijos.
For dessert, there were different types of sweets, with beautiful and tasty pies and cakes.
Depois uma volta para ver alguns artesanatos e decorações para nossa nova casa.
De sobremesa, tinha diversos tipos de doces, com tortas e bolos lindos e saborosos.
Then another round to see some crafts and decorations for our new house.
After this gastronomic tour and with a lot of shopping done, we left our son playing and took a break with a delicious coffee.
Great way to replenish energy and prepare to return home.
Depois desse passeio gastronômico e com muitas compras feitas, deixamos nosso filho brincando e fizemos uma pausa tomando um delicioso café. Ótima maneira de repor energias e nos preparar para retornar pra casa.
