Una mano amiga para nuestros amigos de la calle.
A helping hand for our friends on the street.
Un saludo a todos. Mi amigo @mavg-ve y yo mas allá de compartir ideales, participamos en la misma fundación. Un dia vimos como unos cuantos perros callejeros se paraban frente a una carnicería, como si esperaran un milagro, lastimosamente el dueño salió con un cubo de agua para espantarlos. Aquí fue cuando decidimos llevarle una mano amiga a estos pequeños animales que por mas hambre que tengan, no tienen palabras para expresarlo y nunca saben cuando será su próxima comida.
Greetings to all. My friend @mavg-ve and I, beyond sharing ideals, participate in the same foundation. One day we saw how a few stray dogs were standing in front of a butcher shop, as if they were waiting for a miracle, unfortunately the owner came out with a bucket of water to scare them away. This is when we decided to give a helping hand to these little animals that no matter how hungry they are, they have no words to express it and they never know when their next meal will be.
Los muchachos de la fundación nos pusimos de acuerdo y entre todos conseguimos diferentes cosas para hacer una sopa que alimentara de verdad a todos los que pudiéramos. Hubo personas que nos dieron la mano con diferentes cosas también, un vecino nos dio los envases para servirles la comida, un amigo de @mavg-ve nos dio huesos para darle mas sabor a la sopa y el padre de una de las muchachas dono vitaminas para poner en la sopa y que así les cayera mejor a los perros que ya estaban demasiado flacos.
The guys from the foundation got together and between all of us we got different things to make a soup that would really feed as many as we could. A neighbor gave us the containers to serve the food, a friend of @mavg-ve gave us bones to give more flavor to the soup and the father of one of the girls donated vitamins to put in the soup so it would be better for the dogs that were already too skinny.
El dia realmente se volvió aliado nuestro, mientras se cocinaba todo tanto la electricidad como las comunicaciones con los muchachos. Al estar todo listo dejamos que todo enfriara y mientras tanto ubicábamos a algunos de los perros que queríamos alimentar ese dia.
The day really became our ally, while everything was cooking, both electricity and communications with the boys. When everything was ready we let everything cool down and in the meantime we placed some of the dogs we wanted to feed that day.
La comida estaba lista y a buen clima, todo estaba preparado para salir y eso hicimos, desde el momento que pisamos la calle encontramos perros. Recorrimos las calles centrales de la ciudad, donde sabíamos que había un mayor numero de perros callejeros y que estaban acostumbrados a tener personas cerca. Al final del dia las manos de todos olían a comida y a perro, los pies dolían de tanto caminar y la cara me ardía por el calor del día. Pero realmente puedo decir que todo valió la pena.
The food was ready and in good weather, everything was ready to go out and that's what we did, from the moment we stepped on the street we found dogs. We walked through the central streets of the city, where we knew that there were more stray dogs and that they were used to having people around. At the end of the day everyone's hands smelled of food and dogs, my feet hurt from all the walking and my face burned from the heat of the day. But I can really say that it was all worth it.
