Hello lovely people~~ This is my bid for more consistent writing and blogging.
I have already highlighted my art life recently so next up is Carlito's life because he is a big part of my life and the only reason I go back to the family house sometimes. And to date, it is his second Christmas with us and he has also turned 1 with us UwU
What he gained this year:
1. A full wardrobe
right now he has about 7 shirts or so and me and my sisters have unanimously agreed that he needs more shirts XD So maybe by this January or by February we'll get him few more shirts since he can only wear shirts comfortably while it's still cold. By March and the rest of summer, he's gonna be a naked Boi again XD
2. He has gotten all his shots, vet visits and pet insurance in order
Yes, I got him pet insurance since he's our only pet rn and vet visits are getting more and more expensive XD I did register my youngest sister as the owner so in this case, even my sister gets insured if in the case that she also gets into an accident. there's yet to be an accident on both pet and sister so I can't answer for how easy it would be to claim the benefits, but it's there just in case. Aside from that, we got Carlito all his shots and got him neutered this year. And he's been much much more cuddly and docile since so maybe that was necessary for him.
3. He experienced a pet hotel this year
This was kind of an unexpected expense for me since we had to travel for a whole week and nobody was left to care for him so we sent him to a pet hotel just near our house. We would have tried for a pet sitter, actually but the pet sitters we knew were also on vacation so we couldn't ask anybody for this.
It wasn't so bad because he had his bed, food bowls, the food he liked then his litter box. We just couldn't bring him his clothes. And there was a mic installed on the camera to his room so we could talk to him every few hours in the day so he wouldn't be lonely. We still felt bad for him though because he cried a lot in his first 3 days there ;;-;;
4. He turned 1
We didn't really get to celebrate his birthday because it was also our youngest sister's birthday. they're birthday twins 🤣 so we can only chose one birthday to celebrate the whole day. he still got his own bowl to eat from when he wants to eat at the table tho and i think that's a pretty good birthday gift for him because he doesn't like eating alone
5. He celebrated his second Christmas with us
He is and will always be our shy boy 🤣 he just loves hiding in the tree when it's out. I was telling my mom that maybe we could do a cat Christmas tree one day for him. But he only gets to play in the tree when we're not visited by our relatives. when there are people, his social anxiety kicks in and he starts acting like a baby
See how cute he is hiding and being reluctant to go downstairs because there are strangers 🤣🤣 he complains a lot too, mind you and when he's stressed, he always just wants to sleep while holding hands. I have no ide ho we were blessed with such a soft cat but we're happy he chose us as his family ^^ May he be more spoiled in 2026 💕
Handsome Carlito is super lucky! All his essentials are properly and carefully provided. He's more spoiled than my furbaby Chow Chow Cardo, to be honest. 😄
Well, he's the only pet we have plus we decided on caring for him so we're following through with the decision 🤣🤣 he isn't high maintenance thos which is why he can get spoiled
