A Rather Lengthy Vacation ..
Led to more time away from my normal routine or what I sometimes call the grind. Work has been hectic as well, pulling me in all sorts of directions and leaving little time for writing. This morning I decided to get back on the wagon and write a little something.
Molly Had To Wait.. A good while for her Christmas gift. We ordered it around Christmas but it did not arrive for a good time later. Typical postal service hang ups given the current shipping environment. That aside, can you guess what she got? Yup.. A NEW BED!!! I know, just what she needed (sarcasm). She has enough of them, but that is a whole other post.
I Called It Her Spoils.. And even though she did not steal it or forcibly take this from us or another dog, she seemed to appear like she did. She claimed it right away as her own, after a short warm up period to it. I laied down near it and she immediately ran over to it as if to say this is mine.
We Ordered The Smallest One.. And the thing is still quite large for her tiny 7 pound body. We also thought it would be much fluffier than it appears to be. Oh well, She still loves it and it is still nice and soft. Maybe after a few dryer cycles it will fluff up a little more.
She Melts Into It Which Melts Our Hearts
It Feels Good To Post Something Again.. Maybe just as good as this bed feels to Molly. Okay, maybe not that much, but pretty good non-the-less.
As She Snuggles Down .. I'll just enjoy my time with her and contemplate my next post. I have a few new 'Orchidville' developments to share, so keep a look out and expect that post coming soon. I'll keep this one short and let you all enjoy your Saturday, and I plan on doing the same.

Art exists in addition to language; expression of sensations and thoughts, revealing a way of thinking too subtle and delicate for words.
For me art requires love, honesty and perseverance. In return, it reveals some personal, non-analyzable, and creative untamed passion. For the public, art with its magnificent beauty, improves mood and health and builds better human beings and communities. It engages the intellect, softens the heart, strengthens the soul and frees the spirit.

Nice to see you back! I totally understand needing a vacation. I hope it was very restful for you! My dog actually spent some time on the couch with me the other day which is not that common these days. She is in her teenager phase again even though she is closer to being an old lady!
Thank you! Nice to be back buzzzzzing around. lol. I needed that break for sure 100%. hahaha.. the pup is spunky again?! funny. We have gotten used to Molly's low key old lady energy level. It is nice when she lays with us keeping us company. Although she remains independent. OH NO.. Don't try to snuggle with her or pick her up. She'll dart away. Unless I lower my voice that is.. hehe.
Haha, that is pretty funny! Ours definitely only does what she wants when she wants. She has always been spoiled like that.
