Hace unos días tuvimos una emergencia con mi perrito, Oppa, y fue una experiencia que me demostró que no sé gestionar bien estas situaciones 😅. Notamos que se movía de forma extraña y, cuando nos acercamos, vimos que tenía la patita y la cabeza dobladas y no podía sostenerse sobre sus patas. Mi esposo lo abrazó un rato y se le pasó, pero seguía comportándose de forma extraña, así que no lo pensamos dos veces y lo llevamos al veterinario. Tras la consulta, el veterinario determinó que podría tener una enfermedad causada por garrapatas llamada ehrlichia, así que le puso unas inyecciones y nos mandó comprar un tratamiento para combatir esa bacteria. Por suerte, pudimos comprar todo y está mostrando signos de mejoría, gracias a Dios. ¡Deseénnos suerte!

A few days ago, we had an emergency with my little dog, Oppa, and it was an experience that showed me I don't know how to handle these situations well 😅. We noticed he was moving strangely, and when we got closer, we saw that his leg and head were bent and he couldn’t stand on his own. My husband held him for a while and he seemed to snap out of it, but he was still acting strangely, so we didn’t think twice and took him to the vet. After the exam, the vet determined that he might have a tick-borne disease called ehrlichiosis, so he gave him some shots and told us to buy a treatment to fight the bacteria. Luckily, we were able to get everything, and he’s showing signs of improvement—thank God. Wish us luck!
