Greetings dear friends of Hive Pets. A few days ago I shared the first part of the story of Coco, an orphan puppy that ended up in the facilities of my workplace. I had agreed to take him home to help him out of his sadness, in short, for a better quality of life, it was really for a few days, then I would return again to that place because the Manager told me so.
Day 1
I had some trouble getting Coco to my house, the idea was that someone with a car would do it, after two unsuccessful attempts, one afternoon, at about 5:30 pm, Coco came home. He was scared, nervous, dirty and had some ticks, it was something I didn't like. At home there have not been any of those bugs for a long time, Doll doesn't have any and I was afraid that the plague would infect the house and her of course, I already fought against that some time ago.
The first thing I did was to get those bugs out of him, I put him food, but he refused to eat and drink water, then he ate a little bit of dog food, but he would not stay calm. He was recognizing the place, for him it was strange, Muñeca was just watching. Coco was restless, he was not to be found, he started to cry, he wanted to escape, at the moment I felt guilty, it had been a mistake to take him out of his old habitat. As the door has wide bars, trying to escape he got stuck halfway, but he was able to get out, now only his little head is sticking out.
Day 2
The next day, I gave him a bath and also Doll, I gave them both ivermectin. That second day was difficult for him, being in the garden he wanted to escape under the gate, it was very stressful to see him like that.

That morning he ate all his food, he was a little calmer, but he was not finding himself and at times he started to cry. The adjustment seemed difficult, but then he gave me a surprise.
Day 3
Coco was eating normally, the best thing for him was my affection and a good company, that of Muñeca, she is friendly and affectionate, after some approaches, Muñeca invited him to play. At first he was shy, but later I surprised them playing very happily, since then everything changed for him.
Coco has adapted, he eats on time, he goes out to the garden to do his business with Muñeca, he is happier, he no longer wants to run away, Coco is different, he is happier and he left behind that cruel life in that field. My co-worker asked me about him, when I sent him the pictures he said "he is happy, stay with him". I do not want to return him to that inhospitable place, it would be very inhumane on my part.

This tender puppy does not stop licking me when I am near him, he is a bit jealous, when I go to make love to Muñeca he does not let me, he gets in the way, but he is not aggressive at all, he is very affectionate and calm. I was very surprised that he is not afraid of pyrotechnics, something that my Muñeca cannot tolerate. If he is left alone in the yard he doesn't cry, he sleeps in his little bed or plays with his little bones. I am happy because two angels have come into my life, they are happy and I am happy because they are happy.
Doll is still the same, she is not jealous, she plays with him, she does not give up her habits of accompanying me in the living room while I write in Hive or when I sit down to watch TV (not always), the armchair next to me is still hers.

Saludos estimados amigos de Hive Pets. Hace unos días compartí la primera parte de la historia de Coco, un perrito huérfano que fue a parar a las instalaciones de mi sitio de trabajo. Había quedado en llevármelo a casa para ayudarlo a salir de su tristeza, en resumen, para una mejor calidad de vida, realmente era por unos días, luego retornaría de nuevo a aquel lugar porque la Gerente así me lo hizo saber.
Día 1
Tuve algunos inconvenientes para que me llevaran a Coco a mi casa, la idea era que alguien que tuviera carro lo hiciera, después de dos intentos fallidos, una tarde, a eso de las 5:30 pm, Coco llegó a casa. Estaba asustado, nervioso, sucio y tenía algunas garrapatas, fue algo que no me gustó. En casa hace tiempo que no hay de esos bichos, Muñeca no tiene y temía que la plaga infectara la casa y a ella por supuesto, ya luché contra eso hace tiempo.
Lo primero que hice fue sacarle esos bichos, le puse comida, pero el se rehusaba a comer y a tomar agua, luego, comió un poquito de perrarina, pero no se quedaba tranquilo. Estaba reconociendo el lugar, para el era extraño, Muñeca solo miraba. Coco estaba inquieto, no se hallaba, se ponía a llorar, se quería escapar, de momento me sentí culpable, que había sido un error sacarlo de su antiguo hábitat. Como la puerta tiene las rejas amplias, tratando de escapar se quedó atascado a medio cuerpo, pero el mismo se pudo zafar, ahora solo asoma su cabecita.
Día 2
Al otro día, le di un baño y también a Muñeca, les puse ivermectina a ambos. Ese segundo día fue difícil para el, estando en el jardín se quería escapar por debajo de portón, era muy estresante verlo así.

Esa mañana se comió toda la comida, estaba un poco más calmado, pero no se hallaba y de a ratos se ponía a llorar. La adaptación parecía difícil, pero luego me dio una sorpresa.
Día 3
Coco estaba comiendo normal, lo mejor para el fue mi cariño y una buena compañía, la de Muñeca, ella es amigable y cariñosa, después de algunos acercamientos, Muñeca lo invito a jugar. A principio era tímido, pero después los sorprendí jugando muy contentos, desde entonces cambió todo para el.
Coco se adaptó, come a las horas, sale al jardín a hacer sus necesidades junto a Muñeca, está más contento, ya no se quiere escapar, Coco es otro, está más feliz y dejó atrás aquella vida cruel en aquel terreno. Mi compañero de trabajo me preguntó por el, cuando le envié las fotografías me dijo “está feliz, quédate con el”. Yo no quiero devolverlo a aquel inhóspito lugar, sería muy inhumano de mi parte.
Más de Coco….y Muñeca
Este tierno cachorrito no para de lamerme cuando estoy cerca de el, es algo celoso, cuando le voy a hacer cariño a Muñeca no me deja, se pone en medio, pero para nada es agresivo, es muy cariñoso y tranquilo. Me sorprendió mucho que no le tema a la pirotecnia, algo que mi Muñeca no puede tolerar. Si se queda solito en el patio no llora, se duerme en su camita o se pone a jugar con sus huesitos. Estoy contenta porque dos ángeles han llegado a mi vida, son felices y yo también porque ellos lo son.
Muñeca sigue siendo la misma, no es celosa, juega con el, no deja de lado sus costumbres de acompañarme en la sala de la casa mientras escribo en Hive o cuando me siento a ver TV (no es siempre), ese sillón de al lado sigue siendo de ella.

Que bonito, como todo al inicio, las cosas pueden ser difíciles y para Coco, al estar en un lugar diferente, no era de menos que el temor le hicieras querer irse. Pero las cosas siempre son diferentes, cuando tienes a alguien que te da amor y compañía, eso ayuda a que las cosas mejores. Me alegra saber que esta bien y que tiene un lugar mejor donde estar 💚.
Hola, pues si, como todo comienzo es difícil la adaptación, pero poco a poco se van dando las cosas. Gracias a Dios Coco no tardó mucho en sentirse querido y como en casa, Muñe tuvo mucho que ver con eso también, todo suma. Saludos.
Que bueno que rescatarte a Coco, sabes que me dicen, que la hivermentina, les afecta el higado a nuestras mascota, es mejor darle Bravecto.
