Moses Finds His Way Home. They say that no one chooses cats, but cats choose people. This is the story of little Moses and I gave him that name, because he made his way in front of a very dangerous route to get to our house. And I say dangerous route, because he had to cross literally three passes of vehicles, which always pass at high speeds; but he arrived here, to his new home and I remind you that here at home we had 6 cats; but as I told you in an opportunity our black kitten called brain, went out one day with his brother Pinky, but brain never came back. Now; we have 6 kittens again, because I really don't have the heart to see these little animals in great need in the street. Moises is a very nice color, he is a tabby, between orange and white and with blue eyes; the good thing is that he is adapting very well and the other cats have not treated him so bad.

Esta es la historia del pequeño Moisés y le di ese nombre, porque se abrió paso frente a una ruta muy peligrosa para llegar a nuestra casa. Y digo ruta peligrosa, porque tuvo que atravesar literalmente tres pasos de vehículos, que siempre pasan a altas velocidades; pero llegó aquí, a su nuevo hogar y les recuerdo que aquí en casa teníamos 6 gatos; pero como les dije en una oportunidad nuestro gatito negro llamado cerebro, salió un día con su hermano Pinky, pero cerebro jamas regresó. Ahora; nuevamente volvemos a tener 6 gatitos, porque realmente no me da el corazón para ver a estos animalitos pasar mucha necesidad en la calle. Moisés es de un color muy bonito, es atigrado, entre naranja y blanco y con ojos al parecer azules; lo bueno, es que se está adaptando muy bien y los demás gatos no lo han tratado tan mal.

I pointed out in red the tree where people put the garbage and that is where Moses was. Then he had to cross a street, I colored it yellow. He walked for a while because before he reached the purple zone, there was a canal that he had to jump over. He jumped the canal and crossed the fast lane marked in purple; he passed the island and passed another street, I marked it in blue; I tell you that those avenues are fast lanes, humans must be careful when crossing, I don't want to imagine how Moses did it.
Yes, nobody knew what this cat had done; but I felt a cat in the garden meowing, I thought it was one of mine, because they always go to the garden to do their needs and stay in the garden for a while. But the cat was still meowing, I approached and saw him walking and crying in the garden; he was very hungry and thirsty, I thought. Well I grabbed him and he was very playful, my mother in law saw me and said, that cat was the one I saw when I left the store, I could not believe that he had followed her and I did not have the heart to leave him there, even more if these days heavy rains had fallen, I did not want to think where he had gone to protect himself; well the house looks like a pet shelter, rather a family shelter hehehehehehe.
Les cuento la historia; anoche mi suegra fue a la tienda que está un poco alejada de casa, pero se puede ir caminando. Cuando ella regresaba de la tienda, frente a ella hay un sitio donde colocan basura; allí estaba Moisés y cuando vio a mi suegra se le puso entre las piernas, mi suegra siguió caminando y jamás se dió cuenta que el gato la estaba siguiendo y les digo es un gato pequeño, debe tener 1 o 2 meses de nacido. En la imagen que van a ver les cuento, todo el camino que recorrió Moisés para llegar a casa y sin que mi suegra se diera cuenta.
Les señalé en color rojo el árbol donde la gente coloca la basura y allí es donde estaba Moisés. Luego debió atravesar una calle, se las coloqué en color amarillo. Caminó un tramo porque antes de llegar a la zona morada, existe una canal que de forma obligatoria tuvo que haber saltado. Saltó la canal y cruzó la vía rápida marcada en color morado; pasó la isla y pasó otra calle, se las marqué en color azul; les digo que esas avenidas son vías rápidas, los humanos debemos tener cuidado al cruzar, no quiero imaginar como lo hizo Moisés.
Sí, nadie sabía lo que este gato había hecho; pero yo si sentía un gato en el jardin maullando, pensé que era uno de los míos, porque siempre se van al jardin a hacer sus necesidades y se quedan en el jardin un buen rato. Pero el gato seguía maullando, me acerqué y lo ví caminando y llorando por el jardin; tenía mucha hambre y sed, pensé. Bueno lo agarré y era muy juguetón, mi suegra me vió y dijo, ese gato fue el que ví al salir de la tienda, no podría creer que la había seguido y no me daba el corazón para dejarlo allí, más aún si estos días habían caído fuertes lluvias, no quería pensar donde se había metido para protegerse; bueno la casa parece un albergue de mascotas, mejor dicho de familia jejejeje.

Como era nuevo en casa, metí a Moisés a mi cuarto para darle de comer, no quiso comer; le abrí la puerta y por el momento solo quería estar fuera con los demás gatos, me imagino para tratar de adaptarse. La Minimí fue un poco más cruel con él, Moisés se quedó en el centro de ellos para analizar la situación. Luego se fue acercando a la bandeja de comida y allí estaba Daniela y Pinki; aun Moisés estaba nervioso; a lo mejor diría, todos me van a caer encima, bueno yo estaba atento de todo.
Moises was already on the food tray; Daniela and Pinky had moved away from there, but Zeus arrived. Zeus was sniffing and licking him; but thank God they both started to eat together, I thought that at that moment they were already becoming friends, indeed they were, but minimi is still a little bit mean with Moses. Now; I think that the friendship is really with the dog Lana, because I have seen them playing together on several occasions. The truth is that we have at home a new member of the family, I hope you have met Moisés and you liked his story, because sincerely it is amazing how this kitten did the impossible to get to our house; well, maybe he knew that here he was going to be well taken care of. Moisés ya estaba en la bandeja de comida; Daniela y Pinky se habían quitado de allí, pero llegó Zeus. Zeus lo estaba oliendo y lamiendo; pero gracias a Dios ambos empezaron a comer juntos, crei que en ese momento ya se estaban haciendo amigos, efectivamente así fue, pero minimí aun está un poco malvada con Moisés. Ahora; creo que la amistad está realmente con la perrita Lana, porque los he visto jugando juntos en varias oportunidades. Lo cierto es que tenemos en casa un nuevo miembro de la familia, espero que hayan conocido a Moisés y les haya gustado su historia, porque sinceramente es sorprendente como este gatito hizo lo imposible para llegar a nuestra casa; bueno, a lo mejor el sabía que aquí lo iban a cuidar muy bien.
