Welcome, Charly. At the beginning of this year, a beautiful kitten came to us on its own, and we named him Naranjoso. Of course, he was orange, and we all know that cats of this color are friendly, playful, and very beautiful. However, sadly, three months ago, he left home one day and never returned. We hoped that he would find his way home at any moment, but that didn't happen. To this day, we don't know what happened to him, and that fills us with great sadness. Although we have three other cats at home, Naranjoso had become a much-loved member of the family, which is why his loss affected us so deeply.

Since then, I've wanted another orange cat, but they're really not easy to find. Now, a month ago, my daughter had the opportunity to locate, through some friends, some kittens that had been born to a cat that was staying at one of those friends' houses. They quickly sent my daughter a photo of the kittens that had been born, and among them was a semi-orange one, hehehehe; it was orange and white, but orange predominated. I told my daughter to ask if they were giving it up for adoption, and they said yes. We waited a while for it to be able to fend for itself, and today we have it at home. He really is very beautiful, and of course he was a little fearful at first. I have to say that the other cats didn't really like Charly's arrival, especially Minimí, who can't stand him. We hope that little by little they will all adapt and get along well.

Bienvenido Charly. A principios de este año; vino por su propia cuenta un hermoso gatito al cual le pusimos por nombre Naranjoso; lógicamente era de color naranja y todos sabemos que este tipo de gatos son amigables, juguetones y muy hermosos. Sin embargo; lamentablemente hace tres meses, un día salió de casa y jamás regresó; esperábamos que en cualquier momento encontrara su camino a casa, pero no fue así; hasta el sol de hoy no sabemos que pasó con él y eso nos llenó de mucha tristeza. Aunque en casa tenemos 3 gatos más, Naranjoso se había vuelto un miembro de la familia demasiado querido, razón por la cual su pérdida nos afectó en gran medida.

Desde ese momento he querido tener otro naranjoso; pero de verdad que no son fáciles de encontrar. Ahora; hace un mes, mi hija tuvo la oportunidad de ubicar a partir de unos amigos, unos gatitos que había parido una gata que se encontraba en casa de uno de esos amigos. Rápidamente le mandaron una foto a mi hija de los gatos que habían nacido y entre ellos había un semi naranjoso, jejejeje; era naranja con blanco, pero predominaba el naranja. Le dije a mi hija que preguntara si lo daban en adopción y le dijeron que sí; esperamos un tiempo para que se pudiera defender y hoy lo tenemos en casa. De verdad que es muy hermoso y lógicamente estaba un poco temeroso; les digo que los otros gatos como que no les cayó muy bien la llegada de Charly, especialmente Minimí que no lo tolera; esperamos que poco a poco todos se vayan adaptando y se lleven muy bien.

As I said before, this little one is orange and white; he's a boy, his eyes are blue, and when he arrived he was a bit shy, but little by little he got into the swing of things and started getting up to mischief, hehehe. He doesn't cry much; honestly, he's been calm in that regard so far. He likes to walk, and when he's in bed, he climbs onto my chest and starts walking all over the place. One of the things that reminds me of the lost Naranjoso is that on the first day he came home, he started jumping and swinging on the curtain. Honestly, this Charly started having a good time in his new home.

Como dije antes; este pequeñito es naranjoso con blanco; es un machito, sus ojos son como azules y cuando llegó estaba como tímido, pero poco a poco fue tomando el ritmo y empezó a hacer travesuras jejeje. No llora mucho, de verdad que hasta el momento es tranquilo en ese aspecto; si le gusta caminar y cuando está en la cama se monta en mi pecho y empieza a caminar por todas partes. Una de las cosas que me hace recordar al perdido Naranjoso; fue que el primer día que llegó a casa, empezó a saltar y a balancearse en la cortina; de verdad que este Charly comenzó a pasarla bien en su nueva casa.

Since he's a little small and hungry, we gave him a bowl of milk to feed him. I think Charly thought it was a swimming pool, because at first he wanted to jump into the milk, ha ha ha. Then he seemed to understand that it was for eating, and he really drank it all. Later we'll see how he does with solid food. Honestly, Charly has come to brighten up the lives of all the members of the family; this kitten is so much fun.

Como está un poco pequeño y tenía hambre; le pusimos un recipiente con leche para que se alimentara; creo que Charly pensaba que era una piscina, porque al principio quería entrar en la leche jejejeje; luego, al parecer entendió que era para comer y de verdad que se la tomó toda; más tarde veremos que tal le va con alimento sólido. Sinceramente; Charly ha llegado para alegrarnos la vida a todos los miembros de la familia; este gatito es muy divertido.

I had already mentioned that the other cats weren't very happy about Charly's arrival. Minimí started fighting with him, and we were very careful to make sure he didn't get hurt. But the one who does seem to be happy with Charly is our dog Lana. She has played with Charly, and I think she thinks she's his mother, because Charly often wants Lana to nurse him.

The two climb onto the bed and start playing until they get tired; well, Lana doesn't get tired very easily, but Charly does, and Lana teases him to get him to get up. Ya les había comentado; que los demás gatos no estaban muy contentos con la llegada de Charly, Minimí se puso a pelear con él y nosotros muy cuidadosos para que no le hiciera daño. Pero la que si parece estar contenta con Charly, es nuestra perrita Lana; ella si ha jugado con Charly y pienso que se cree mamá gata; porque varias veces Charly quiere que Lana la amamante.

Los dos se montan en la cama y empiezan a jugar hasta el cansancio; bueno, Lana no se cansa mucho, pero Charly sí y Lana lo molesta para que se levante. Bueno amigos; esta ha sido la bienvenida a nuestro miembro de la familia a quien ya empezamos a darle mucho amor. Que él se divierta con nosotros y nosotros con Charly; saludos y nos vemos pronto.
