in Home Edderslast year

This could be a new name for many but not so for few people of India. Infact, I also learnt about this today. It is always good to learn something new, and learning about "chila-i-kalan" is not so different. My dad always insist me for reading news paper. During school days, I used to avoid but during this winter I read for few days. And honestly, speaking it does help a lot. Not only about keeping us updated about day to day happening but also enhances vocabulary and reading efficiency.

Kashmir, Ladakh, Drass are heavenly covered with snow. The effect of these snow has already been felt in other cities like New Delhi, Rajasthan and others.

To add more interesting facts to this unique winter word Chilla-i-Kalan is followed by 20 - days long Chillai Khurd which means small or marginal cold, and then followed up with 10 - days long Chillai Bachha which means baby cold.

These are all local dialect spoken in the kashmir and surrounding region. These are quite interesting to learn and talk about. Hope you enjoyed the reading too and added some new facts about the chilling winter time.

Learning is Passion!!
