How We Think, Plus Asking My Children, What I Should Write About?

Writing has always been a wonderful way in which I can process my day. Helping me let go of certain ideas that I have been holding on to, for far too long and helping me to understand why certain things are the way they are. I surprise myself sometimes, when I come up with the solution needed in order to move forward, just by writing about it. But then again, we really should allow things to flow!

Putting things on paper or onto a screen, helps to bring order to my thoughts, that at times can be chaotic and with that order comes more awareness and understanding. We can be our own worst enemies, when it comes to hindering our progress in life. The way we think, shapes our reality, so finding ways in which we can help our thought process and turn it around when the need calls, is really important.

Having children, opens up a whole other world on the power of our thoughts. My girls tend to tell me most things and if they do try and hold back the truth, I can tell immediately as they all smile when they do so. It's quite an interesting reaction, that they take, when trying to conceal something from me. They just can't do it with a straight face., their bodies really can't lie.

I love to observe my girls when they are playing or interacting with others. The three of them are all so different, it is so fascinating to watch them each unfurl and blossom. From my eldest daughter who can come across as quite shy, but who is also very confident in her own way. She likes to sit back and observe everything, only ready to engage when she has gotten a good grasp of what is really happening.

My second eldest, is the entertainer. She moves all the time, even when she is seeming standing still waiting, she is moving her body, swaying around. You will just as likely see her with her legs behind her head. as you would see her sitting down. And she loves to make us all laugh.

My youngest is full power, she is just so full of energy, from the moment she wakes up, to the moment, she falls asleep. She is fearless as well, climbing jumping, all the while making my heart jump as I watch her navigate her way around the land.

Sometimes, when I am thinking about what to write for the day, I ask them for their input, what they think I should write about. Their responses really reflect who they are. Tonight I asked them once again and this time I took notes.

My eldest suggested that I write about, how tigers are so intertwined with four years olds, mostly because my youngest believes she is one.

My second eldest suggested I write about how people are hypnotized by screens, this one I was quite impressed with.

She then told me to write about how some people believe that the earth is flat, another great topic, if somewhat controversial.

My eldest shouts at me to write about fungi, cos that's what I love, yeah this response, this makes me smile.

Then my second youngest tells me, that I should write about how some people do not believe in magic, because they have not explored the world enough and that she knows for a fact that unicorns are real.

My youngest requests, that I write about the moon or mermaids. Telling me where her beautiful mind lies right now.

And then my second eldest again makes a suggestion, this time about electricity and the different types there are in the world.

I must say, that I am super impressed with all that they have suggested. Each one, giving me a glimpse into how they think and also how well they know me! Now to decide, which one I should write about tomorrow?

I don't know why writing isn't my thing. Even though I might have a long episode to write about, I have always preferred making art to spending time writing the long story. I can take a few lines or sentences to pass my message while the art does the rest but I can't endure taking time to write pages.
You are doing well and you've got some lovely children. Weldone👍

But your art speaks for you, you don't need words, it's such a beautiful form of expression @maxwellmarcusart xxxx

You are absolutely right. But despite that, a few set of people would want to see you write something about it and I kept wondering if they can't see through those works.

They sound like marvelous beings, those daughters of yours :^)

I'm already looking forward to your 'mermaid on the moon' post ;^)

Yes I have to write that one, been in garden world of late but I think that one will be coming soon xxxx

I like your youngest suggestion!!!
I have not moved from the Moon and Mermaids myself, hehehe 😁
Did it tell you that I love the moon and mermaids?

Oh do write a post about moon and mermaids, I would love to read it. xxxx

How about these?

Same! For me, it's therapy and meditation all tied into one, and it just feels good!

Same goes for me. I'm a terrible liar, and my mom could always tell.

I'm impressed, too! How old is she?

Which one I should write about tomorrow?

All great topics! But my vote is for the one about magic and belief in magic :)

My second eldest is 9 and very observant. Thanks for the lovely feedback @katiecat1111 xxxx

That's amazing! It's good that she is already aware of this.

Well, you've got a crack team of advisors, an unfair advantage over some of us...lol. I finally just published an article that might fuel some thought...

I certainly do, I'm very lucky indeed. I will go check out your post xxxx

It is so interesting and challenging and wonderful at the same time, how the siblings are almost always all different and opposite of each other.

You are very lucky to have such a great support and help, when we struggle sometmes what to write about.

It's amazing how different they are, I do feel very lucky indeed @joalvarez xxxxx

They sound adorable.
They all giving topics base on their point of views .

Exactly, thanks @ijohnsen xxxx

Because you write so beautiful, I think you could write several articles, choosing one topic suggested by all three of your daughters. 😊

Ah thanks so much @missdeli, Yes I will be choosing one from them over the next few days, and see what I come up with xxxx

Hopefully I wont miss them, else it will be my pleasure to take a look into your writting! :x:x

I too love to observe my son and cherish the moment while he is young because he's going to be young only once (kids are just too fast to grow).

It's so wonderful being able to observe them and learn from them as well, they are masters in the art of being present xx

Greetings @trucklife-family the issues raised by your children are very interesting, the one about people hypnotized with screens is excellent, he must be a smart and very observant boy, I look forward to your writing on that topic.

Many blessings!!!

Hello friend, I think that in children we can always find inspiration to write about many things, they have great ideas, as their minds are not limited by preconceived ideas, it's great that you ask them to feel involved in your activities.

Yes I think it is important to include them in our activities @emiliomoron xxxx
