So I'm gonna hit 90K HP probably in around 10 days from now and my EOY goal is to reach 100K HP.
And I know I am not the only one who loves a classic base 10 milestone, as I've noticed a few other people aiming for the 100K too, some like me by the end of 2023, others with a longer time frame, so I got to thinking it might be a good idea to track whose in for the goal, short or long term....
Part of the reason for tracking is that I like to support people who Power Up consistently with my upvotes because having Hive Powered Up helps secure the chain, and protects my investment as people who do likewise aren't continually cashing out and putting sell pressure on Hive...
So a few people who I know who are up for he 100K goal include, and in no particular oder...

These people are basically my Hive Peers and it's nice to be on a Power Up journey over the years in good company, and I'd be DELIGHTED if any of them overtook me on the way....
In fact I'd be even more delighted if I dropped down out of the top 200 by HP, and even more delighted if I dropped out of the top 500.
I'm planning on keeping a minimum of 100K Hive Powered Up, and will add more after that, but I'd love to see MORE people powering up to this mid-level stake, the more the merrier.
I'm currently well on target to make the 100K by the end of 2023, I'm ahead of schedule and have almost 2K liquid which I play around with rather than Power Up!
How about you? Are you aiming for 100K Hive at some point in the next year, two years, five or ten years...?

I just hit 97k and hope to be at 100k by August. I did a big power up at the start of the year, but recently it's mostly just Hive earnings. I have noticed a lot of familiar names in a similar position. @meesterboom is nearly there too. Of course my account got a nice boost from the big fork as I was able to sell my $STEEM to buy more $HIVE (plus a little more from $BLURT).
We do need more big stake-holders to spread the rewards more. People should not just trail the big curation accounts.

Whaledom seems very distant but you never know. I never really dreamed I would get to 100k.
As @revisesociology says, we are ranked pretty highly really. If/when Hive takes off we will drop down the rankings and that's okay.
Yeah, it's good to have a reasonable stake as you can really see the influence when you vote people. I'm not fussed about where I rank as long as my vote counts!

Likewise the plan is no cashing out as the stake is the true value and not the dollar amount as the hope is for passive income one day. We will all get there and yes I do think it is a mid level stake as well so that means this is the first target reached and then onto the next.

I just powered up to a little over 1k prior to seeing this post. 100k seems like such a far off goal, especially since most of what I do on hive is lurk and read. But I truly believe this platform is something special, and I want to do my small part. So just by virtue of that, I guess you could say I have a 100k goal. But I don't expect to hit that any time soon. Thanks for being an inspiring presence here.

Well we all got to start somewhere! It's just about the grind at the end of the day! I've always found writing is the most lucrative!
For me, right now, hive isn't really about the money and I'm pretty grind averse since closing my business down. But as with all things, that's probably temporary, lol. I'm sure there will come a point where I won't be able to shut up about something or another on here.
100k HP is an awesome goal, well done - my current goal is 20k for now (can't even think about 100k yet!)

Yep 100k is the goal and hoping to hit that by end of this month really. After that point I'll most likely back off and start getting into a few other projects more with it. Don't want to keep all my bags in hive and 100k is pretty solid in terms of what will be earned and auto powered up anyways.

Trying hard now so i can get some account creation tokens to on-board some people i know.

Just keep on stacking, you'll get there, I'm not sure how you can get account creation tokens without having around that 6K mark unfortunately.
Hey thanks for the heads up. I believe powering up is very important and I would like to keep a minimum of 100k as my stake on hive and then spread the funds on other projects. I have been doing some bigger power ups this year and yeah hopefully sooner or before the end of the year I would like to hit 100k.

It's my goal to hit the 100k mark this year and I'm confident I can make it. In fact if I pool in all my liquid assets I should I get there immediately. But I figured I'd take the slow and organic route coz once I hit it, there will be no significant milestone to aim for.

I’m also shooting for 100k, but it’s likely going to take several years. It’ll probably have to be all organic growth from here on out. Since retiring, I have less discretionary income with which to buy crypto. Also, being American, there are fewer on-ramps than there used to be.
You'll get there eventually, it's sad what America is doing its citizens, but then again their global power does rest on control of the money supply, so it's not that surprising if you know their agenda.
I just passed the 2000 club lol. It stacks so slowly. After watching the latest Splinterlands townhall though and the news on arcade club, I'm thinking Hive might be the real winner in all of this. Time to start redoubling my efforts to stack.

Earlier this week I hit crossed 10k HP. That took me two years. xD
I might hit 100k around 2027-28 provided I continuously power up my rewards and Hive stays in the lower ranges like it is now. But I also want Hive's price to grow gradually over the years. Let's see!!
There's one thing I know for sure though, I will not stop unless I reach that goal. xD
Things pick up pace the further you get, just keep on stacking!
