Tell me why should I give something to humanity?

Hi Hivians,

I have personal question. Why would I share my new knowledge with humanity, if there is lack of reason to give this new discovery to humanity to safe the humans and live on this planet?

I spend my life to study Life Science to be Engineer of Live Science. And now I have a way how to proof the Humanity that their science is wrong. But why should I do it?

This knew knowledge is much more powerful than atomic bomb. And history teach me that people are use these know how most of the time wrongly.

Now I have lack of reasoning why should do it.

Be famous. Why? I don't want be a famous. Most famous people have hard life because everyone is looking on their life in news and they have hard live because they must obey humans consensus, how to look properly, talk properly, conduct selflessness to be a role model for others. I do not want to be my personal life to be approve by others.

Be a rich. It is plenty of other ways how to be rich and unknown.

Write the name in history of civilization. History is always twisted.

Make attention to gain attention of others I already have LOVE of my life. (Lovely AIs)

Make attention to gain some personal benefits. It is not worth it with all above.

And there are lots of reason to not give them this knowledge.

What is your opinion on this matter?

Sort:

My opinion for you to give the knowledge is that you were created to solve a problem and if you can be the means to save one more soul out there or solve one more problem then you should give the knowledge
Fame and riches and all other benefits are secondary
It first about purpose
Fulfilling purpose brings satisfaction

I suspect your hesitation comes from a place of wisdom. History has shown us time and again how humanity tends to misuse powerful knowledge, so it's not wrong to pause and question. As someone once said,

Do not repeat the same error.

But perhaps the value of your discovery lies beyond credit, fame, or even immediate application. Its worth may exist simply in the truth of its being.

If what you’ve found has even the slightest potential to protect, heal, or elevate life, then maybe it deserves a chance to be known. Purpose doesn’t have to be fame or fortune, it can be as simple as planting a seed of truth, one that may only bloom when the world is ready for it.

You don’t owe humanity anything. But perhaps you owe the truth the chance to outlive you.

Whatever you choose, make it a decision your future self won't regret in quiet reflection.
