They do though. 2 of them go into the engine block and I think the 3rd one, the 4 inch one, goes up into the side of the compressor but it's hard to see.

Maybe it's why no one wanted to replace the pan. I wanted 2 different shops to do it and they both told me that the bolt heads were all rusted off and there was nothing I could do. One of them told me the only thing I could do is take the car to a junk yard and sell it for a few hundred dollars! But when I got under there the bolt heads are in near perfect condition!

Avoid those shops in the Future, they are dishonest and incompetent!

Did you find the book on your car? They will show pictures of the assembly, and list torque specifications.

I haven't been to town yet but probably tomorrow. Yeah I was very disappointed in those shops, they flat out lied!

Cool, it will help you, unlike those shops!

How much do those cost?

Depends on the car, but about $25....

ok, well the Missus is going to town today and will probably pick one up, I'm kind of debating it but if something else breaks I might be able to fix it myself if I have the book. Now I'm leary of these shops.

Well she went to the parts store today, they didn't have the repair manual so she ordered one because they also tried to look up the torque numbers and couldn't find them.
