Greetings Steemilings! Call me VelmThrift, an honor and a pleasure to meet you!
I am your new friendly, Elven Space-Cadet Steemling neighbour!

Where to begin...So much to say...Nothing to say...those two swirling into each other, an infinite circle.

This is my 'simplistic' introduction post.
What to know about me, what NOT to know about me ...
Hmmm Puzzling and Perplexing my dear friend. (Those being two of my favorite adjectives)

I cannot help but think, 'but why would they even bother ?', and it is true, why bother ?
Yet maybe, just maybe, by chance what I have to say and what I do, will, in fact , interest you.

I have recently joined Steemit, ( I am a massive newbie Steemiling) but I am very excited to have joined and to begin this new adventure, delving deeper into the ethereal world of Steemit.

I still have much to learn, so much in fact, and am getting there gradually, slowly but surely!

The two star buns that inspired me and actually physically got me to join is @morkrock and @princessmewmew. They are pretty Fudging epic, go check 'em out! (They are my honey star buns, I love them too much!)

Apologies, I must warn you now; I prattle, ramble and babble a lot. Jumping from one topic to the next in a flurry of explosions, just how my mind works. I write as my mind thinks, sprinting frantically from one thought to the next.

Visualize it as such:
A galaxy , with various different stars, each exploding in tune to a grudge electronic rhythm masterpiece, a color show, neon fireworks. Purple monkeys with 7 tails. Dark chocolate and strawberry stingers. Babies with retro TV's for heads. Lemon juice....etc...

My head.

So what is there truly to know about me? Hmmm...
So much and yet so little.
To be honest I am still trying to figure that all out for myself.

So hopefully by placing these upcoming few pieces of data here, you will have a better understanding and 'feel' for who I am.

If I were a flavor, I would most probably be: honey, cinnamon, Madagascan vanilla, chili and crispy bacon gelato.
( REAL Gelato, that heavenly shite) Though it will most probably change, it is my current flavor. I am still going to explore and sprout a lot. Just a random fact by the way. What flavor are you ? I would love to know! Leave a comment telling me what you think YOUR personal flavor is currently!

I am pretty shy. I prefer to hide and to be on the side lines, rather than in any direct spotlight. Here is a random rare photo of me, (one of few I approve).

I do admit fully, that I am completely and utterly new to Blogging, but I am going to give it my best shot !

I am a young adult, trying my best best to adapt to the new and rough waters of adulthood. Its quite the challenge, awkwardly moving from the lanky teenage stage to the bright and gloomy adult world. But its not like I have a choice, time has a tight hold on me and won't let me enjoy my youth for too long.

I am level 19 in the game of 'Life', and each level up becomes more complex and challenging but their is always some spectacular reward at the end of the level, even if its just a massive bomb of experience points.

One of the big things to figure out is which direction I am going to take, though that I am quite unsure of still, lets just say I dabble in a bit of everything! A lousy jack of all trades !

I do enjoy writing and to conjure stories, thought often I am too shy and insecure to share them, thus hopefully with the help of Steemit , will change.

So yes, I adore literature, poetry, reading and writing (although I am not so great at it!).

Nature takes up a massive space in my heart, I do so love the natural world around us and its bewildering beauty. It is enchanting and energizing. I love plants, and am gradually attempting to create a small forest of sorts in my bedroom! (That is a dream of mine, to have a forest like bedroom, house/home that is majority earth matter, yay!) I would love to be a good old green fingers.

Animals are also a big fondness of mine, each creature is curious and offers some insight, with its own history to tell. I do hold them in high respect. (Except some to be frank...like flies, and mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, etc.) Those do freak me out.

I do have a passion and keen interest in art. The artistic world is vast and deep, and one that is almost impossible to come back from.

So, why Elven Space-Cadet...?
Because......

I love fantasy, fiction, and Sci-Fi!
Space-Cadet! I AM a BIG Space-Cadet! I am always, always zoning out and getting lost in my head/thoughts/ dreams. My father gave me the nick-name growing up due to this, and still to this day calls me a Space-Cadet. Galaxiesssss !!! Outer space and yonder, the great unknown and the cosmos are also very fascinating to me. I take an interest in Astrology too.

Elf. I was born with my ears being slightly pointed, and whilst others thought it weird, growing up I was very chuffed and happy about it. Also, being taller, larger (and more portly) then most of the kids my age, to me I saw it as sign that I must be an Elf, if only it were true though! Also, Elves are some of my all time favorite supernatural beings.

Health is another massive factor that interests me, and is a key stone in my life. I am very interested in it, and learning more about it, as I would like to develop into the best person I can be.

Gaming is awesomeness!!! I am a massive Nintendo fan, the only platform I play on. Some of my favorite gaming titles being : Fire Emblem, Pokemon and Professor Layton.

And so much more !

I found your post through @princessmewmew on #steemsugars!

I remember my "level 19" well! It was the "level" I started my relationship with my now husband, so it is a very memorable level indeed. It sounds like you already do, but enjoy yours fully and explore the world in whatever capacity you can :)
