Who is Curtis Carroll?
What we see here is that it is possible to positively change your life if you can find or create the opportunity to do better. The story of Curtis Carrol is very inspiring and has given me much to think about. I'vre realised that it doesn't matter your circumstances you can be who you wanna be if you consciously work on it. He is literally self educated and is very interesting. I think that oir education system must introduce financial literacy at the basic levels so that kids will know the value of miney and how to manage it properly.

What a interesting story! 1% of Americans are in prison, that's equivalent to 1 / 3 of the entire worlds inmates. Just those numbers alone tells a person that something is wrong with the system in the States. Inmates need a SOLID rehabilitation plan to get adjusted to society again, and finance is a big part it. Curtis "Wall Street" is my new idol.

I tend to agree with you it's not there yet. But a lot of people use the bubble metaphor as if to say that the a bubble is bad. Bubble in my mind translates into opportunity. It's only bad for people who day trade and who don't have long term intentions.

Growing up in environments where it's difficult to grasp the simple concept of stocks is tough, but at the end of the day there is always a way to do it. And in Curtis' case, he needed time to himself and a lot of self evaluation for him to unlock his true potential. I see him as an inspiration to the individuals that struggle to grasp the concept and I know his words will and has impacted many people. God Bless you Curtis!

Never give up on yourself no matter the circumstances;look at this guy in prison for life, minimal resources, odds against him and still figured out how to make a killing in the market. After seen this no one should have an excuse why they can't accomplish their goals. This was truly a great motivating post.

i just watched this video today about him. he is truly an inspiration and i love the fact that even behind bars and with all that time over his head he still found a way to obtain financial freedom no matter if he was physically free or not. and now hes even teaching the incarcerated youth about financial literacy so when they come back on the streets they will have a legitimate skill and they could possibly do better in society and not have to return to prison. Mr. Wall street should be an inspiration for everybody. I know he is for me! lets all break our chains thats holding us back such as this man did in his own way!!!
The man can do the thing with right or wrong way. He has authority. but being a human we can have difference b/w right and wrong. We should have expanded mind set. If we did... Nothing gonna be impossible except bad things.
