شكرًا جزيلاً لك أخي العزيز علي كَرمك المتواضع ،، وأتمني من الله عز وجل أن يجعله في ميزان حسناتك

Ameen.

I honestly have never read the Quran. The poetry of the recitation was beautiful and it flowed very well. It definitely peek my couriosity. Thank you for sharing.

Welcome, this was just an experiment for non muslims to hear it from the source than hearing it from the mainstream media, glad it got you curious.

I think the media here in America has done a horrible job of representing Muslims. I think there is a lot of rich history and many things we can learn from each other. Thank you for being bold enough to share. We are all Gods creations and He loves everyone the same.

My main problem with the media is them trying to divide us, (divide and conquer) the mainstream media is trying to divide the Americans between themselves as well as divide other nations, they will find the differences between us Muslims, Christians, Jews and bring the far right from each group into a debate to bring more divisions and so on. Unfortunately, many people fall for their traps and forget to find the similarities and common ground between us.

That is the truth. I think that we have much more incommon then we have been taught. I hope that places like steemit where we can have open and honest discussion will help us learn more about each other and what unites us.

thank you for sharing the chorus of the Qur'an, I feel goosebumps heard Vidio also I am very impressed with all the creation of Allah who has created the heavens and the earth and its contents. thanks @digdaga for sharing this with us I am happy

Appreciate your comment, glad you like it.

Thank you friend

A beautiful video and song! I got interested in the part where he mentions mankind and jinnkind and i was fairly surprised to find out that Jinnkind are what people in the west call "genies"

These days people in the west fear Islam over a few radicals that are causing troubles in a few parts of the world, but overall Islam is just like any other religion, a way for people to find peace and understanding in themselves and a path to try and find meaning of this life we are granted be it by god, or luck or whatever.

Personally, i love all things related to history and technology and without Muslim scientist in the Islamic golden era we would probably not be here, the ideas spread by Islam are pretty much confirmed to have kickstarted the European renaissance and that basically brings us all the way to today.

If you are interesting in a unbiased look at Muslim culture and history i recommend you guys watch this video too.

I truly love your comment and explanation and that video is just a cherry on top of it.

Yes, Jinn is what basically the west calls Genie and they are the entity that teaches magic since Babylon as per our history and information.
With the big media going all over against Islam and blaming Islam for everything wrong that is happening, I can understand why people tent to hate us, But believe it or not the word sword as some westeners claim is not mentioned Once in the Quraan while it is mentioned 200 times in the Bible as per my knowledge. Also, as per the Islamic war laws, we are forbidden to hurt a tree, Child, Women, Old People, anyone who surrenders, so whoever you are seeing in TV, those are extremist which I condemn no matter what religion they belong to.

Thank you for your comment, Love your blog and started following you and you are the 13th winner of the 5 Steem contest.

Also, if you want to learn more about the unseen world and Jinn I highly suggest this series:

I will take my time and watch this series later tonight :-D.

The hate Islam gets its mostly thanks to the fault of the education system in the west that does not attribute Islam with its great discoveries and the amazing foundations it laid for society as we know it today, at least thanks to globalization and the internet we are able to spread this information to more and more people everyday.

I think it is beautiful :) At first the silent intro had me turning up the volume a bunch because I thought my volume was off so when the sound came it was super loud, but then I ended up leaving it that way ^_- This is music for the soul.

I am glad you enjoyed this and Indeed it can be considered as music for the soul. You are the 4th winner so Congrats.

Allah is indeed great, thanks for the inspiration

Welcome and thank you for your comment!

This verse tells about how great God the creator of Nature.
Then the favor of god which you will deny.
And this verse shows to the blessings of heaven.
With us running all his commandments, then the paradise we will get.
And the soul will feel calm.

Thank you for your comment, I do agree with the above points as well.

my favorite line by far:

"the earth, He laid it out for creatures..."

i think it truly shows sacrifice of higher beings, and what they do to create the world of comfortability that we live in each and every single day.

i also wanted to note that i love Arabic language and writing. i think it is honestly the most beautiful written language that exists on earth. some people have actually compared my handwriting in english to arabic script, and i take it as such a compliment. such beauty! and the language such poetry!

Thank you for this beautiful comment, Beautiful people see beautiful things everywhere and you are an excellent example for that.

I will make a post about Arabic language and some of my favorite Arabic words in the future.

Your comment is the 14th winner of 5 steem contest, congrats.

you're very kind, thank you for being my fellow human. as an expression of thanks, here is a short snippet of handwriting, with a quote from some of my poetry. i hope it inspires you:)

Here is my reaction to it:

At first, I was in awe. The adoration and the style of singing are very entrancing. I wished I had such a belief, that I could think that a being so magnigicent exists, to create a world and give balance, to create creatures of different hierarchies and give them tools to thrive. I enjoyed the description of this balance like a shower of rainbow.

Then, the song started getting weird and the singer started talking about how we, God's creations, would be bathed in fire and punishment, how we would be chained by our feet and all of that threatening. I felt quite attacked! As if this being weren't as magnificent as I thought but an evil king. To see this vile giant that creates a conscious being only to pluck them from comfort and bring them into a pit of suffering was very overwhelming.

From this point on, I couldn't help but not be into the song anymore. I listened to the rest of it but I felt like I couldn't regain interest. I was made very uneasy by the second part, as if the paradise had been taken from me by this being and I had been doomed to an eternity of fire... and it were just on a whim, for its own pleasure and thoughts of grandeur. As if he thought that having the ability to create a being also gave him the right to throw them in boiling water.

I'm very... distressed.

I love your comment and your detail re-action to the verse, as a Muslim myself I feel a lot of discomforts when god talks about punishment, but when I see what is happening in the world from people cheating, stealing, killing rape, and many other crimes, it makes perfect sense that One can't kill another human and get away with it just like that, the verses that talks about punishment are for anyone who is causing harm to other humans. We also believe that God made humans in a way they can always choose to do good or bad, and one part clearly mentions: "there is any reward for goodness except goodness?".

I am sorry if it made you feel distressed at the end, but I was also expecting that, but just imagine you are a mother or father to little children and they are living in your house, As parents we make some rules, like do not lie, do not hit each other, and so on, and we want our children to have the best practices and education, hence we sometimes punish them if they cross the lines or send them to the naughty chair if they are not behaving well, So yes I do expect the creator to treat us the same way and worn us of the consequesnces if we go on earth and start messing around with our fellow humans.

Your comment is 9th winner of the 5 SBD challenge, Congrats.

This is a really cool video, when I hear this reading I am contemplating when I can read al-quran with a very melodious rhythm, I cried when I heard it, thank you for sharing

thank you for this wonderful comment.

Yes, hopefully I can get 20 sbd amin

This was a very cool way to expose people to something new. Firstly, I loved the singing and I enjoy using my voice to connect with God. And i liked that you had the translations so I could see what he was singing about. I really like how the verses referred to enjoying God like flavors and asking us why would we deny the many flavors he has to offer. Lastly I enjoyed how much the verses talked about respecting and taking care of mother earth and all her splendor.
Thank you for sharing a different flavor with us as this is usually not the case in our mainstream media in the US.
Blessings to you and your family!

Many thanks for your comment, I am glad you enjoyed this and this comment is the third winner in the contest, Congrats.

Wow thank you!!!

Hello. Thank you for this opportunity.

As I watched the video I was confused and surprised that there were no instruments. The person sings very well and it's a very charming topic. I particularly liked the latter passages about fruits, but the first ones were also very interesting.

What intrigued me the most about it was that he talked about Mankind and Jinnkind. What are these Jinns? They seem to be parallel entities, with the same duties and limitations as mankind.

I remember watching a TV show called American Gods where there is a Jinn who has fire in his eyes. He has sex with another man, who then turns into a Jinn and has fire in his eyes.

Thank you for comment and that is a very good question you just asked.

We Muslims, believe that Allah (God) is the Creator, which means someone who likes to create but we know of 3 creations so far which are Angles, Humans, and Jinn because all 3 were mentioned in our book.
We also believe that Angels are made of light, Humans made of Clay, and Jinn is made of fire or smokeless fire. Now, this does not necessarily mean that they have fire in their eyes or they walk around with fire, just like we humans do not have sand or clay in our body, but for example, you can see that our colors are like of the sand and clay, some of us are white, yellow, brown, black and you can find all those colors on the ground, we depend heavily on water since clay is also made of water and sand.

You are the 10th winner of the 5 SBD contests so congrats and thank you for your contribution to this contest.

Im not very relugious person and I dont usually like to talk about god and creator as Im not sure what to think about this subject myself. At the same time I appreciate interesting content and your time and effort. Cheers,

God is eternal world and hereafter, no one can match it. Thankyou friends have shared a video about Ar-rahman to us, i got touched and tear out when heard it, thanks friend

Welcome and thank you for your support.

Good friend

the usability of the letter and the video to calm our hearts and souls.

Assalamualaikum

Surah Ar-Rahman is the 55th chapter in the Qur'an. This chapter is a makkiyah letter, comprising 78 verses. Named Ar-Rahmaan which means the Most Gracious comes from the word Ar-Rahman contained in the first verse of this sura.

As a Muslim, I am proud to have a steeming that shares this post.

Success is always for you.

I was very touched to hear the letter-Arrahman. Most of these suras describe the mercy of God. to His servants, by giving unlimited blessings both in the world and in the Hereafter,Thanks @digdaga, has been sharing useful posts for Muslims, I salute you.

This makes me understand and think that:

"We are part of something bigger and greater than just ourselves. and whoever looks deeply into this existence will eventually understand this conviction, for if you look closer, you will understand that the greatness of Allah lies in every inch of its creation. We must seek knowledge and open-mindedness. because it is the only way to find the ultimate truth and understanding."

Thank you for this initiative.

Thank you for this comment, I could not agree more and you are the Fifth winner, Congrats.

thank you I really appreciate it.

A very good post my friend, the essence of this letter I feel that we can see everything on this earth will be lost and meaningless friend of all we will face our creator Allah swt ..
Unbelievably successful friends always make you my friends upvote and resteem

This is actually my first time hearing any words from the Quran. It actual reminded me of the Bible in many ways, just written different. My thoughts after listening and reading along is, could the same Almighty God have inspired both books.

Honestly, I'm still trying to interpret the message in the phrase "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?"

I am glad you heard it and indeed we believe the same God who wrote the Bible, and Torat as well. Actually, the Prophet Jesus is mentioned in Quran more than our Prophet Mohammed and We believe as well he will be Back at the end of times in Our book as well. The Similarities we Share in our Religion is far more than the things to divide us, many thanks for your comment.

That is so refreshing to hear but the truth is, I feel that I already knew it. I don't know how or why I know some of the things that I do but I do. I know that I have a rare gift from God but I don't know what to do with this gift. I feel empowered and lost at the same time. I cannot be tricked because I see tricks before they are played. I cannot be lied to because I know the deceiver. God is Good, he has placed you into my life for reasons that I do not fully understand but I trust in the lord, he has lead and carried me to safety.

Nothing happens by coincidence and for sure our paths crossed for a reason, I am personally glad to have met a good Steemian like you, as for the truth, as long as we keep seeking it, the truth will prevail at the end. Be it in religion, Investment, relationship, health, I encourage everyone to look at the truth with an open mind and keep searching for it until they feel satisfied. By the way, forgot to tell you that your comment is the second winner of the 5 SBD contest so congrats.

Thank you for your words of wisdom, they are very true and well taken. I'm glad to have met you as well and I'm honored that you appreciate my insight enough to have chosen my comment as a winner. It's pretty rough to get even an upvote sometimes and I just won 5 free SBD instantly, WOW! Thank you, you are much appreciated.

This is how God gives his grace and guidance to mankind, everything in the heavens and earth is the meaning. distress is every test to the ultimate happiness. if it is like school you can not get a degree if you do not pass the exam.

then the happiest life is a life of gratitude for life.

Good job

Thank you.

I just saw the computer.

ma shaa Allah I'm gald to hear surh Ar Rahmaan at morning and had meaning in English too, spread the positiveness of Islam and thank you for sharing it ... may Allah bless you for this..

I think I am not targeted person for this video because I am muslim and I read and listen these surahs and ayats many times but I only want to say most atrracted words of Surah Ar-Rahman, "Lord of the two easts" . This words make me think and feel listening a poem. thanks my friend @digdaga for a nice sharing.

Listening to the person read/sing? was almost mesmerizing. It sounded very nice, although, if I were trying to listen to what was being read, I would probably fall asleep. That’s just me. I believe in the Bible, and it seemed there were some similarities in the two, however, as I was reading the captions, I found it very confusing. Why was the same question being asked over and over again?

They are many similarities between the Bible and Quran by the way, in the messages they convey but In Quran, no other Surat(chapter) is Written like the others, each one has a unique style and by the way no Muslim can call himself Muslim until he believes in Jesus, Moses, Ibrahim, Sulaiman, Noah, Adam and other Prophets. As for the repetition of the question, Have you ever seen two people fighting or disputing in a Loud voice even your children sometimes and you were telling them to calm down, calm down, calm down so many times in hopes they hear you one time? Your comment is the 8th winner of the contest so congrats.

That is interesting to know. I really know very little about the Muslim faith, so thank you for sharing.
And that is a good anology. I wouldn’t have thought it about it that way!

My dear brother @digdaga 😃 , Really, I sincerely thank you very much for that wonderful step, Indeed, when we hear verses from the Holy Quran, we feel chills and heartaches ، We are Muslims, we know the values of the word of truth ,,, the words of the Lord of the Worlds, is the treatment of the soul and the heart, and no voice above the voice of truth .
Really thanks you so much sharing a very good work😊, good luck my dear brother @digdaga 👍
All the best for you 👍👍😃

good job my friend

NICE CONTES..CONGRATE

This song is very monotonous and made me sleepy. The arabic accent is very interesting. There is an interesting "i" in the "aiiin" in there and the kh is also intriguing (reminds me of the Arabic pronunciation of Ahmed).

I'm an atheist and I have a big thing against religions, so the religious part missed me completely. It's a nice story, though. It's very inspiring to use this to write.

It reminded me of this.

I had a Christian education and noticed that this is very similar to the biblic passages. The creation of the world in parts, the creation of man from clay, the description of the to-do's and the punishments. However, on the bible there is only one garden (the Garden of Eden) while here there seem to be two gardens. There also seems to be the promise of great things of obedience. "Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade and fruit of both gardens within reach".

The music is very good for sleeping, though. It's a pretty lullaby. I particularly like to listen to arabic music, lol, I don't know why. I have a lot of albums by Elissa (Here's one) and I used to have them on repeat. Arabic is just something very pleasing to my ear.

I think that one of my favorite things is how on point 71, at minute 11:16, the dude starts crying and the dogs can be heard in the back. THE PASSION! It's amazing.

edit: Oh, I also met a Muslim girl here where I live and the way she told me about her family was very oppresive. It's a religion that looks very pretty outside but once you get into it, it's full of an anxiety to obey the rules. It's very stressful and limiting. In the end we split apart because of this, since she felt like she was committing a sin for being with me.

Thank you for this wonderful and details comment, I often hear that the Bible, Torah, and Quran have very similar stories. However, the Quraan is probably the only book that has been preserved in its original language and this is important for the preservation of the true meanings.
As per my knowledge, the Bible was written first in the Aramaic language, and then translated to Hebrew and then greek and finally to English, I will have to double check on this information, However, this made the book lose many of its original meanings, and I also see many Christians confused between different versions, while there is only One Quraan out there.

there is no music at all in what you just heard. The guy was not singing but reciting deeply with emotions that made it almost sounds like music to the ears, yes that part where he starts crying is just so emotional for me as well.

As for the Muslim girl that you have met, this is probably more to do with the traditions and her family than Islam itself, Islam for me is like a big cake and if you try to eat it all as some try to do and apply it to their children then you will probably end up sick of it, but its more like eating a little of it every day and the basis of the message is to believe that there One creator of this Universe, as hard it may sound I do believe the universe is a very complex creation and it could not have been createad by itself.
Any complex device that you use today, like mobile, Tv, Computer, and even Blockchain and Steemit has a Creator and the first thing the creator of any device do is make a booklet of things to do and not to do with this device, otherwise your warranty is not valid anymore or you will end it destroying it. Hence my logic tells me there should be a creator of this complex universe and there is should be a book of rules or guidance for us humans to use.

You are the 12th winner of this contest and your coins will be on the way now, thank you again for this details comment.

Well this is difficult. I am in no way used to writting discursive thoughts in english, which is not my native language, but I hope it's intelligible. First of, not only I am non-muslim, but an atheist. This put me in a position of wonder, because the part that most resonated to me was the constant repetition of the phrase "which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" because I wouldn't have beginning to imagine just by myself, that they would question that openly the (I assume) expected behavior of a flawed follower (like all humans) and embrace it in a way that induces resignation but to the extend of determine strongly the faith in their savior. The catharsis aspect of the liturgy is a part of this practices I am very unfamiliar with, because I wouldn't usually try to experiment even by curiosity, but once done it and getting surprises like this one, makes it worth it.
Another great part is the "there is any reward for goodness except goodness?" bit. It reminded me to the aristotelic philosophy of ethics. Because goodness is an end in itself. And it's great to find this bits of human wisdom and knowledge in places I would have doubt a couple of times before believing it. One does need a lot of willing disposition to sit through this chant in a practice basis, but with the right mindset, believe and worldviews, I wouldn't doubt it would be a riching experience for the subject.
It does have an aesthetic aspect worth mentioning, in it's structure, that I kinda notice, and could enjoy, but for my personal taste, felt dragged in the end.
I am kinda lost on the symbolism, but that's predictable.
Was that a laugh or a sob, close to the end? That made me feel completly unaware of the sense of what the singer was feeling.
Thanks for sharing it and allowing me to try testing my perception of this.
Have a good day.

This comment is definitely a winner and one of my favorites.

first of all, I would like to start that we all have the freedom to choose our faith and believe, be it Athiest, Jew, Muslim, Christian, Buddist and so on, having said that I personally explored most of them and read most the books about each subject. having said that, I do believe that anything of a complex nature can't be created by itself, let's just take the blockchain or Steemit, Cars, Airplanes, Mobile Phones are all examples of complex devices that could not have been created by themselves. and each one of those complex devices is in no way as complex as the universe itself.
Another point I would like to bring, anyone who creates something, even as simple as a microwave will make a book of instruction of things to do and not do with that device, otherwise, the warranty that comes with it is invalid.
I hope the above comment can make you wonder even more about the Universe and congrats on your 5 SBD.

It is great to be this well-read and cultivated, as I hope to be one day. I have tremendous curiosity towards Buddhism, and find -to say the least- its concepts and notions as thought provoking.
I am glad I was this joyful read to you. And I thank you for giving me this attention with this well known type of argument towards this persistent demand of our subjectivity that is the necessity of having a Being, the First Cause to sustain our conceptually limited perception of the Universe and it's origin and purpose.
The notion of complexity escapes the grasp of our competence to rationalize, specially when the scope of "evolution" in this world is so wide, and also appears to be so because we make the world fit into our categories to make sense.
But, in all honesty, having creation be by itself or by something external to it, or if itself has consciousness or not, both seems suspicious to me (one more than the other) and for now, that keeps up my wondering. Because, as a human, I find that there are things that escape the reach of words, meaning and sense, maybe it's intuitions of a conection or a source. Let's wonder!

Im not very relugious person and I dont usually like to talk about god and creator as Im not sure what to think about this subject myself. At the same time I appreciate interesting content and your time and effort. Cheers,

@digdaga i added you bc the 14th winner is my friend on here, and id love a chance to compete for the next one are you doing it again?

You can still see the Video and give your Opinion about it, 6 more slots are available to win. Just leave an honest comment about what it made you feel, It does not matter if it is positive or negative and best of luck.

Thanks I’ll check it out right now

You might laugh but here’s my response:

The message seemed repetitive, and the great thing about repetitive is that they say it takes 4 times repeating to remember it.
Well i remember the message. I’d be able to remember it 2 weeks from now. Pretty cool autonomic response.
The best part for me is as i put my phone away from sight i just listen to the words and background music that alone was so soothing to me. It was kind of like a trance. It was end of day for me after all my busy day and work and after 5 minutes of listening without visual it put me in a calm and mesmeric state of enlightenment and serenity. I actually may have dozed off in between. I loved that. Found a new voice whose words i can’t understand but allowed me to be effected psychologically and put me at piece. I loved that. As for the message, i derive that god or a higher power is the provider and to be thankful for where you are and what is provided. Self reflection.
Thanks for the share! Awesome to come back to for a temporary way to slow down your life and listen to the trance words to put me in a calming state!
Z

What a lovely comment and feedback, definitely one of the winner.

by the way, there is no music involved at all, so not sure how you heard the music? it was just the guy's voice reciting without any music involvement and he was not even singing. He was reading with emotions which made it felt like music not to you only but many of the other comments as well.

Welcome, and thank you for your feedback, will be sending 5 steem power in a short while, Congrats.

oh wow! cool. yea i guess it just was trance-like haha. i loved the repetition and listened the whole way through. Definitely something to remember here. happy to enter or participate on any addtional ones tag me or dm me for any others :)thanks for the win too :)
