Feeling No Need To Do More

Feeling No Need To Do More @EverNoticeThat httpshive.blog@evernoticethat.jpg

I've always been described as an eternal optimist, but I must say I'm very happy with my life right now. It seems I've settled into the right balance of doing good deeds for others while also saving enough of that mana for myself to ensure a prolonged sense of serenity and contentment.

Finding that equilibrium in this current existence is something many people have to make a conscious decision and put forth a real effort to put it in place. For me this change happened several years ago when I made a vow to look after myself more and separate myself from the life-sucking energy Vampires around me who I was only too happy to give the boot to.

The feeling of lightness, of casting off a heavy burden was exhilarating to say the least and long overdue. It's something that other people will come to when they're ready and the time is right. Or not. We each have a mind that can be either a beautiful palace or a miserable dungeon if we so choose, and life is too short to be living in somebody else's shackles.

While not quite nirvana, the sense of peace that I feel is something I wish I could gift to other people who could really use some serenity in their life right about now. I guess the best advice I can give is that you should take stock of your life and the people around you. Who's adding to or taking away from your joy? After that, you'll know what to do.

For me, five paragraphs is a short post, but I've said all I need to say today, and I hope the thoughts that I've shared will give you the impetus to make that choice to switch on the light in your life. Your soul surely deserves it. Namaste.

it's been a while, hope you are doing good. I love the positivity and encouragement you provide. Your words are a reminder that finding balance and peace in life is a personal journey and we should take the time to reflect and surround ourselves with people and things that bring us joy and fulfillment. Your words are truly uplifting and inspiring. Namaste.

Thank you so much @collinz. These "life" posts don't usually gain a lot of traction, but I feel good writing them. And if they help even one person "going through it" to get through it better, it's more than worth it.

But listen to you complimenting me when you're literally providing life-giving water to the honorable people of Ghana. You're doing God's work and I hope he rewards you handsomely so that you can continue to do even more.

I wonder what the future holds for you? Building a school? Or perhaps setting up a Hive farm to provide food for the community along with that life-giving water, or maybe sponsoring a food truck or market stall to help some struggling entrepreneur to support his family? The possibilities are endless in the good that you can do. God bless! :)

Thank you for your kind words! I am humbled by your encouragement and support. As for the future, I am always looking for new ways to make a positive impact and help those in need. I am open to all possibilities and will continue to strive towards making a difference in the world. Thank you again and may God bless you too!
