RE: The Kids Are Getting Good Grades!

Perhaps having them homeschooling for a bit will help you to learn how Logan learns best and maybe incorporate this when schools go back. It's really not uncommon for children to struggle with the traditional "sit down and get the work done" approach to learning, but it's hard for teachers with big classes to do it any other way. They certain have little time to figure out each individual child's best learning approach. I know some teachers have found ways to incorporate fidget methods into their classes, which help them focus. I heard a story that one teacher put elastic bands around the chair legs so the children could swing and bounce their legs on them while they worked.

Anyway, well done teacher/dad, sounds like you're doing a great job!

Thanks for your kind and detailed reply. That's some really good advice for Logan when school resumes. We have talked about homeschooling both boys before Covid came. My wife's sister does with her kids. I think he has very good support through his IEP and one teacher who really gets him. 😁😁
