Ok, i need advice on how to compartimentalize, at least, my french posts from my gamedev ones in english so they don't end up, the two of the same on the gamedev thing that would be a start, thank you very much for your honest, down to earth analysis even tho some points kind of saddens me, but it's the part of taking criticism.
I'll try to write down some of these things and keep it as a memo before doing videos, i didn't thought what i do was "spammy" until now, just trying to show progress as much as i can, but if it ends up hurting what i do, i might as well try to lessen the rate of my blog posts and make more condensed ones once a day or once every 2 / 3 days.
I didn't knew my name popping up that much on gamedev, it also means there isn't much people doing that kind of thing on the platform too, but i'll keep in mind to try to explain what the game is about, spam less this particular tag and diversify.
This has been a nice reading thank you for taking the time.
Unfortunately, it takes a LOT of time to build up an audience. In fact, look at me. 20 days in, I have achieved 50 followers, of which I'm seeing an average of 6 to 10 upvotes on posts now. That's not a lot, but it is growing. It ONLY grows when I post quality posts through Utopian. That bot gives credit to the articles and people are starting to take note. My issue is that Godot Engine is such a small % of the community here, however, I'm giving it a lot of love to build. It will take a lot of time. Try to make your posts interesting to the reader, NOT to your excitement of producing something. It is a very hard skill to learn, but one that I'm sure you could harness!
Another thought, try to explain in bullet points or headers what progress you've made. In bold letters so it pops.
For example:
Now I have a feel of what you've done. If I'm interested in how you did it, I might have a look at the video. I could also have a feel for what kind of progress you've made, without spending a lot of time.
