No, not to this gorgeous view from our backyard but much later. As my mom's bouts of coughing woke us up about 4 AM, it took us about an hour to settle her back to sleep. Wanting for some coffee brought @idamagbag and me to the kitchen. French windows overlook the field behind our backyard, so as it started to get light, we decided to sit upon our fallen mango tree for SUNRISE gazing.
Thanks to the recent typhoon, rarely had we got a chance of a wide vista and a panoramic views East-side of our house such as this. With the mango tree's branches down to the ground, this gave us an unobstracted view of the field before us to the distant mountains further afield.
There are residences in another block plus the distant mountains provided the backdrop but perhaps they're not that noticeable as I would have thought. These shots were taken from the mango's branch as our bench.
A new dawn...
Waking-up to a new dawn, to a new beginning, of LOVE and TOGETHERNESS. I don't mind such mornings or any mornings for that matter as they are ONE REASON to wake up for.

I hope your mum is feeling better today.
My mum was taken into hospital on Saturday but is home again now. We just happened to be going to visit on Friday so that has worked out well.
She's not as far away as your mum was but it's still a flight and a ferry to get to her.
Best wishes for your mom Gillian...their age is giving them havoc nowadays. A flight and a ferry hmmm..sounds exotic where she is!
