Earlier I stepped out on my front porch to take a photo of some wind chimes I have out there and while I was out, along came my 83 year old Uncle, racing across my front yard on his fancy mowing toy. 😃
He lives next door and the house I live in belongs to him. Since he has several super nice mowers he loves to play on, he whips over and mows my yard when he mows his.
As nice as his mower is and as FAST as he goes, it doesn't take long at all !
He has fun and I have it made .....right ?!?!?

That does look like a nice mower. I had a riding mower for a little while and they are fun. I think though I am done with big lawns, at least for now. Maybe when we move again I'll change my mind about lawns, I did like having one at one time, but they are so much work.
It IS a nice mower and he also has another one of a different brand that is just as nice. He and my aunt have helped take of her parents till they passed and now my aunt's elderly brother and they had different rental properties that they also maintained. I believe the house I am in is the only one they haven't sold now. Anyway, they have all the nice toys from when they needed them more and their yard is a good size, but not huge and my hard is not huge either.
I totally understand not being big on maintaining one anymore as I would be paying someone else to do it if the service didn't come with the house. 😉
He does seem to really enjoy it though, now that there is not so much of it to do as there use to be.
Whoa! The grass is sooooo green! Good looking yard. I like the idea of you enjoy some porch time while your uncle mows. 😄

It really does feel cushy since I started working at home. No getting up extra early and driving 40 minutes. No dodging the 5 o'clock traffic trying to get home after. Loving it !

Although I have no issue with anyone knowing I am 63, I don't really love putting my exact personal info in.
