Hahaha, this cracked me up! But, whatever would you do if you lived in Canada? Here it's possible to get 25-30cm of snow in one day! Winter usually starts some time around the end of October and lasts until about March or April, depending on what part of the country you live in. Where I am in British Columbia, winter temperatures are around -10C ... but in Winnipeg (Manitoba) it can go down to about -40C. Canadians live in a huge, beautiful country with more weather variations than you could possibly count ... but the older I get, the less I like winter, lol.
See, I think you are lucky. You are geared up for snow. Here its like panic when it happens!!
A friend who moved to Canada said it was dry snow because of the cold compared to our often rubbish wet slushy snow!
I love real snow but find myself hating winters more and more too
I love Canada, but often dream about living in a more year-round temperate climate - I could do with about 72F all year (no extreme hot or cold for me!) ... and of course, it must be by the water! Oh well, dreams are free, aren't they? :D
Oh man, that is the same dream as me! The 70's and near water. AWesome! I love Scotland but would do the same and move to a place like that in a heart beat!
We like moderate temperatures and water too. Our house is 15 mins walk from the beach, and currently the temperature range is the 20's (C) or the 70's (F). Though admittedly in the coldest part of the winter, it can occasionally get down to 3C overnight.
OH my oh my. I am so deeply jealous. In spring and autumn here it can go down t 3C overnight!
Ah {sighs smugly} - why we love New Zealand, or more specifically Wellington, or even more specifically, our suburb.
I shall remember New Zealand as a place to store once my crypto fortunes finally come home to roost lol!!
Me too! Time to start building steem dollars?
Hehe, or selling them like billyo at this price!
