I love how you take this type of situation with humor, you always find the right words so that what bothers you looks more fun.
These are the things that bothered me when working in multinational companies, they do nothing thinking about the employee's well-being, if they really want to do things well and provide good attention to the employee, they should send the assistance service at home.
It is true, what one does for a salary.

I think approaching these things with humour is all I can do to stay sane.
One day someone will click that if they really want everyone to be happy they will do what is needed in the financial department and not invent lots of daft things that don't matter to annoy them with!
