As time seems to move faster everyday, I am always looking for ways to maximize the time that I have.
To be honest, I'm sick of working all day, It's exhausting, and it's wearing me down.
I'm realizing more and more that the daily schedule I've had is all messed up. After working graveyards for three years, I am still a bit "Messed" Up from it.

How can we maximize our productive hours?

Do your Creative Tasks In The Morning

Think about it, When do you think your brain is at maximum capacity?
A couple of hours after you wake up!
You just slept. And after you've had your coffee, your probably in peak condition to get work done.
But should you check your email!?
NO! Avoid your email. Instead, focus on something that requires more thought. Like creative tasks, Or if your trying to improve your skill, Now is the time to do it.
This morning I woke up at 5:00 A.m. And began designing shirts. Usually writing Steemit posts, And designing shirts eat up my whole day.
But Today was different. I started the timer for (20 Minutes) And went for it. I made 13 shirts in 40 minutes! Pretty amazing right?
But I didn't let myself start uploading them yet... Why? Because uploading them is a "Boring" task. So I'm going to save that for later.
After having my breakfast, I had a Freshly Meal Roasted Pork Tenderloin
with Zucchini & Potato Cakes.
I started the shirt making process. After 2 Pomodoros I am now starting my daily Steemit writing. I'm hoping that I can have them done quickly.

Give Yourself Time Limits

As I said, I'm exhausted from working all day every day, So from now on, I'm going to cut myself off.
I'm thinking around 5:00 P.m.
If I don't finish my work, Too bad.
When you give yourself time limits, you are more likely to be productive, Because you know you have a limit. Your work will expand to fill the limits you set.
This is why it's important to give yourself realistic, But hard to reach time goals for your day.

When Do I Check My Email

Email can eat most of your day! Even if your not running your own business. All those spam emails and other sales emails can easily waste time.
Checking your email once a day, and in the afternoon, Is the best way to ensure you aren't wasting time. Get all your messages sent, Then try and stay out of it. This is the same case for Facebook.
I don't count Steemit into this category because Steemit encourages creativity. Plus your writing. Which is a valuable skill with lots of benefits!

Excercise

I didn't go for a run this morning, And it's 8:00 A.m. And I'm feeling it.
Exercise helps get your brain going to you can focus. Haven't you noticed you sometimes feel drowsy for hours in the day, Before you fully wake up? By exercising you can fix this problem.
The sense I skipped my run, I'll probably finish up most of my work today, And go for a bike ride.
Make sure you do exercise that you enjoy! Because if you try and force yourself to do something you hate, You are less likely to do it.

Drink Water!

You probably just slept 6-8 hours! Think about how much water you DIDN'T DRINk in that time! One of the causes of drowsiness is lack of hydration.

RELAX

When your day is closer to over, Start relaxing! If you want to be productive, You can often find tasks that are "work related." AND relaxing. For me this is drawing, I can draw graphics for my shirts and coloring books. I also can turn my drawings into a blog post for Steemit. I often underestimate how productive drawing can be, because I enjoy it so much!
When you have hobbies like this that can "benefit" multiple areas of your life, you start to gain a HUGE advantage.
When you relax your also allowing your brain to start to relax, You'll be under less stress, and you'll sleep better.

We can change small things and get BIG results!

It's funny how I think by messing up my sleep schedule I'll be more productive, But the reality is, I'm less productive as a result.

Thank you @elyaque for the awesome Badges!

If we plan our schedule for throughout the day we can do work in a more sytematic way. We can prefer those things that are important and need to be finished up today or within a few days and keep those things that can wait.
But I will differ from you that we are most productive and active at morning. It depends on person to person, as I am most productive and active during night. It has worked out for most of my life, during schools, during exams and during work. It may have made a mess of my sleeping cycle, but It works out for me.
I find solutions of my biggest troubles easily at night. I think I am nocturnal.

I agree with you :) It does depend on person to person. I think everyone needs to experiment and figure out what works for them. I feel like because of our jobs and such, Many people would have to be up early.

That's also true.

'I find solutions to biggest problems at night'
Maybe it's nothing innate with night time itself, but the peaceful environment at night time. You just need some peace during the day :)

That's true, but it is very difficult to find peace at day, at night everything is standstill and calm. So everything is at peace and everything works out.

Excellent post... Relaxing and rewarding yourself once completing a goal or a task may also improve brains productivity, physically and psychologically.

Agree :) Wonderful comment.

Excellent advice. If we don't put ourselves first, how can we be of service to anyone else? Proper sleep and hydration in the form of clean water alone work wonders!

Nice tips to improve creativity and Productivity! Another good practice is Meditation

Thank you! Thats a good one :)

Yes. I tend to do some of my most productive tasks within the first hour of waking. It sets the tempo for the day and encourages me to get more done!

Exactly! I love that! I'm trying to start doing that as well, So I can get more done in the day.

i always do my creative task in the middle of the night....😊🤗..
errr can imagination really boost brain power too @kaylinart?

I think it really depends on the person :) Do you tend to wake up later too? Or is that after you've had a full day of activities.

I wake up not so late.Am running a growing business, no big clients yet so i tend to be super active at midnites to think of ideas and then to navigate steemit, that is what i do since my joining steemit in March.

I feel the same, I can't be creative at day, But at night I feel like I am some super genius, Biggest problems are solved sometimes in minutes.

Affirmative @looftee, i couldn't agree the more with you.

🍒 I read the whole article and I thank you for sharing your creative process, I got some useful tips I can apply, also it's true that we all can get more stuff done, if we have an efficient method for working and being creative and congratulations on designing 13 tshirts in 40 mins, that's impressive :D

Everything is so true! Of course, it's not easy to do everything every morning.. but the most important thing is desire! :)

Hi lin i want to be your follower I've learned a lot now, I'm going to apply it now too scotty 777 from south africa

nice post!! hack entire you and start loving urself, then everything falls in place, be it mind or body.

DRINK WATER!! never forget this, if you need some incentive to always stay hydrated, it helps prevent kidney stones. And a friend of mine described peeing with stones in your kidney as the "worst pain imaginable"

Great little post. Definitely like the idea of starting ones day with a creative task. Unfortunately for me I have to check my email many times a day in order to pick up my contract work. If I miss the email, after about an hour they go on to someone else :(

A M A Z I N G !! followed and upvoted ...!!

A little healthtip is to put a pinch of sea salt or himalayan salt (important it's NOT table salt) to remineralize the water.
When you do that it will also help guide the water into the cells, and thats where it needs to be.
