I went camping for most of this weekend again, And this time we got a few trees to plant on the property. They were tiny little aspen trees!
I love these types of trees because they grow pretty tall and the leaves make a nice sound on windy days.
Note: I thought I posted this already, but for some reason it didn't work. Hopefully I don't double post this. I guess we will see.
Digging
I thought for sure digging the holes would be easy, but I was wrong.
There are tons of large rocks underneath the ground that my shovel kept hitting.
I had to scoop them out, And in some cases, I couldn't even dig passed a certain point because there appears to be gigantic boulder underneath the whole campsite.
It was a great workout for my stomach! So that was nice! Maybe I should spend all day digging! I'd probably get the exact body that I want Haha!
Location
The five trees were planted in different spots.
After digging the hole, I added the Meat moss stuff, And then gradually buried the tree. Then, of course, they needed lots of water! Because of the dessert area! Hopefully, they'll survive.
I hope I can plant a lot more trees in my life. Hopefully one day I can buy land to just fill with trees and nothing else! Hah! So all those people who like to cut them down won't be allowed.

Look at you making the world a better place online and on earth. Digging is rough and hurts my hand, you were smart to do it with gloves. I didn't the first time, tough lesson to learn for sure!

Sweet if only everyone did this once a week we might have some cleaner air and cooler weather. Love it! Did you take money you made from steemit to buy these and plant them etc?

That's a great example to others on how to improve your life, forest, world. Unfortunately most of the people only consume and that's all they are capable in this life. I am very glad you are setting such a good example.
Right? It's so sad! People consume so much and never think of the damage they are doing! Hopefully people will realize what they are doing.

Way to go! I love seeing this, as imagine if every person did this just once during their lifetime. Yes, digging is absolutely not that easy:) I think the last time I planted trees was when I was in high school, your post made me wishing to do it again. Earlier my city was called "a city in the park", it was so incredibly green. But at the moment these green zones are destroyed more then renewed. I think I must follow your example and make my contribution to keeping nature alive. Thank you for inspiring and reminding me that!
