Weight gain diet

Gaining weight is easy for some people but there are just those who are born naturally thin and gaining weight for them seems like an impossible mission. If you are one of those people who are striving to move the weighing scale higher then a special weight gain diet is just right for you! What makes the diet special is not because of the recipe and ingredients involved but with the special amount of the common food groups you encounter everyday. You may not be aware but every food group is important to maintain good nutritional balance. Although in cases that needs special diets some amount of food groups needs to be higher than the rest to compensate with what’s lacking. The formula for weight gain diet is focused on balance and increased caloric and protein intake. Here are some tips that may help you increase your bulk:

Increase your caloric intake. The best way to gain weight through fat or muscle is to have a reserved energy. Your energy intake must be more than your energy output. The body has the tendency of using up its own fat and muscle tissue as a source of energy when the calorie is significantly low. In the absence of calorie the body has to find a way to compensate so it will use every available sources of energy and our fats and muscles are also a good source of energy.

The amount of protein intake is still been debated by the nutritionists but when you engage to extensive work outs a good amount of protein is really essential. The function of protein in our body is very vital. It hold water into the blood stream so it wont seep out and cause edema, it also helps repair and maintain muscle integrity and this very important for those who are working out since muscles are always put to stress during this activity.

Fat is also important, you don’t need to omit it but limit it to small amounts, but there are also good fats that are found in fish oil, and nuts such as almond, and also from the flaxseed oil, bananas also is good for the heart. It makes much sense when you include good fats to your diet when you are bulking up.

Lastly meal frequency, meals should be taken on time as much as possible. There is a tendency that you are going to eat more than the usual and it will be very hard to control if you will eat late because of the hunger. Eating meals on time keeps you on track with your diet and prevents you from over eating.

Thanks for the article but I do have one suggestion. I would not limit fat intake. Dietary fat is actually very important for nutrient absorption, hormone production, and brain health. The right kind of fat may be the most important nutrient you consume!
