The one I used to use often left a smudge but they have introduced an AI version on Google photos that quite cleverly takes them out almost without a trace although sometimes there can be the odd artefact!

OK gotcha. I'll look into that. I use the Google editor and never noticed it I'll look again
It's the little AI option instead of the smudge leaving one that is still there!
