I don't think that's funny at all, it's actually quite serious and shouldn't be laughed about. My son's girlfriend has a 8 year from a previous relationship that gets slips sent home like that one all the time. When he came into our family he was five going on twelve. She was a high risk pregnancy at the time so I use to have to go pick him up from kindergarten everyday. It was so embarrassing I use to pull my hood over my head so no one who may have known me may would relate me to the kindergarten terrorist. Having some stability in his life he's gotten a little better but he still manipulates quite a bit. Usually the teacher just calls his mom but the other day she couldn't get a hold of her so she came over to my car and said can you tell mom that it's been a rough week, particularly today...not that's it hasn't been a rough year. (something similar to that) and I looked at her and said I know it's been a rough four years at least you get the summers off.
It gets old after awhile and this type of behavior isn't fair to the other kids in the class not to mention the type of influence he could have on the other kids in the family as he gets older.
